We got to the city.
"It's good to be back" I said.
Samuel looked at me and smiled.
He dropped me off at my office.
"Miss, the architecture who is designing the outlet is here" Poppy said.
"Let him in" I said, sitting down.
I heard the door open and saw Luke.
"Hey um, I'm meeting someone else. If you need to meet with me, Poppy can schedule a meeting some other time" I said.
"He's the architecture" Poppy said.
I turned to Luke and he faked smiled.
"Oh. You can sit down" I said.
"How are you?" he asked.
"I'm good, how about you?"
"Good" he said.
"So tell me, what's your visualization for the outlet?"
"I want everything to be fancy, elegant. Neutral colors" I said.
He nodded.
"I want the clothes to be displayed in an organized way, not cluttered. Have racks on the walls" I said.
"What about the floor?"
"Wood"
"It's two stories, right?" he said.
"Yes" I said and he smiled.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing" he said, nervously.
"Well, I think this is for now. We'll start everything tomorrow if that's fine" he said, standing up.
He offered his hand for me to shake it.
I got nervous.
When I grabbed his hand, my heart dropped.
He stared at me.
I let go.
"Thank you" I said and he left.
After I finished some paperwork, I left to grab a coffee.
I couldn't stop thinking about Luke, so I went shopping.
After, I went to the house.
"Hey girls" I said.
"Hey you went shopping?" Beverly said.
"Yeah, I needed to be distracted" I said.
"Why?"
"No, question is why didn't you invite us?" Becca said, sitting on the couch with her laptop.
I laughed as I sat on the couch.
"Well Luke is in charge of designing my outlet" I said.
"What?" Bethany said and I nodded.
"It's going to be awkward" I said.
"Well enough talk about Luke West. Let's talk about my wedding" Becca smiled.
"Oh yes please" I said.
"So, we want the theme to be Winter Wonderland" she said.
"Love that. So snow and snowflakes" Beverly said.
"Yes, it goes perfect with the date and the white dress. Talking about the dress, Brooklyn, would you do me the honor of designing my dress?" she smiled.
"What?" I asked and she smiled.
"Omg, I get to design Lady Gaga's dress for the Met Gala but I think, designing one of my best friend's wedding dress gives me much more honor" I said.
She hugged me.
"Wait Lady Gaga?"
"Yes" I squealed.
"Are you going to meet her?"
"Yeah, for her last fitting"
"You have to take us" Beverly said and we laughed.
"I would want for you to do the bridesmaid dresses but that'll be too much. So we would have to go to Vera Wangs for you guys of course to find one" she said.
"Where would the venue be?" Beverly said.
"Either the Plaza Hotel or the Weylin" she said.
"Plaza Hotel, much fancier" Bethany said.
"Peter is Catholic so we will hold the ceremony at a church" she said.
I nodded.
"I need to hire a wedding planner so they'll be in charge of the small details" Becca said.
"Becca you know you'll be in charge of that so you don't really need one" Beverly said and Becca laughed.
"Let me get you your fitting, so I can start working on it. You're going to love it" I said, and started taking her measurements.
