"Hey, are you okay?" Bethany asked.
"Yeah why wouldn't I be?" I said.
"It's Julianna Luke's wedding today" she said.
"What?" I said.
"Yeah"
I gulped.
"I'll be fine. I really don't care plus I have a lot to do today. I have meetings about the opening of two more outlets" I said, faking a smile.
"Okay, well have a good day" she said, smiling and left.
I looked at myself and took a deep breath.
I got on the car.
"To the office" I said.
Luke.
"Nevermind to the church on Broadway" I said.
I was tapping my feet and finger on my purse.
"What am I doing?" I whispered.
"Don't. To the office, whatever you do, don't let me go anywhere near that church" I said.
"Are you feeling fine Miss Montgomery?" he asked.
"Yeah" I said.
When I got to the office, I checked the time.
I groaned and started making my way to the church.
I ran and when I got there, I stood frozen.
I took a deep breath and went in.
I heard the priest speaking and I saw Luke with Julianna on the altar.
"If anyone objects to this marriage, they should speak now or forever hold their peace"
I opened my mouth but no words came out.
I left, dropping tears.
When I got to the office, I saw Becca.
"I couldn't do it" I said, crying.
"Do what?" she asked, hugging me.
"Hey, the investors are here" I heard and saw Poppy.
I quickly dried my tears.
"Poppy you're going to have to tell them to reschedule" Becca said.
"No, no. I'll be there in 5" I said.
"Are you sure?" Becca asked.
"Positive. This is my future, my dream" I said and went to the bathroom to fix my makeup.
I went up the elevator.
As the door opened, I saw someone on the couch.
"Luke?"
