We were walking back to the houses.
We saw April, sitting down.
"There you are. I thought we were gonna meet up around 1" she said and I let go of his hand.
She went up to hug him, trying to kiss him.
"April stop" he said, trying to push her back.
"Really Luke?" I said.
I was walking away but he grabbed my arm.
I snatched my arm away.
"I don't know what she's talking about" he said.
"Luke, c'mon lets leave her alone" April said.
"April stop! What do you think you're doing" he said, getting mad.
I went up to him and grabbed his face.
I kissed him.
"Sorry, he was with me" I faked smiled.
She then left and when she was out of sight I let go of Luke.
I tried to leave but he grabbed my hand.
"Luke stop!" I yelled.
"What? Were you gonna meet up with her at 1 and then me at 2?" I said.
"Brooklyn, can you not?" he said.
I walked away and went to sleep.
When I woke up, we all got ready.
We were going to spend the day walking around the stores and then going on a boat, taking us home.
When we were ready, we went outside to meet up everybody else.
I saw Luke and I rolled my eyes at him.
Julian then came up to me.
"How's the birthday princess?" he smiled.
"My birthday was yesterday" I said, letting a small laugh out.
"I know, but we're here because of you, your birthday" he smiled.
I then saw Luke looking at me and I continued to talk to Julian.
When everyone was fully ready, we were heading to the stores.
Luke came up to me with his bookbag.
"I'm leaving" he said.
"You are?" I said, sad.
I cleared my throat.
What are you saying??
You're Brooklyn Montgomery.
"Have a nice trip back" I faked smiled and tried to leave but he grabbed my hand.
"Stop touching me" I said.
"I wasn't going to meet up with her. It makes me real sad that my mom is right" he said.
"What'd your mom say?" I said, quietly.
"That you're Brooklyn Montgomery. A rich, spoiled, brat who doesn't care about anyone lower than her class" he said.
"Well it makes me real sad that that's how you see me" I said.
"Brooklyn, that's what you make me think" he said.
I walked away.
"Is everything alright?" Julian asked me and I nodded.
"Nothing important" I said and he put his arm around me.
