William was still sleeping and I heard the elevator.
Lilo walked in.
"Hey" I said.
"I went to go look for him at his apartment and he didn't answer so I figured he could be here" she said.
"Yeah, it was easier for me to take him here" I said.
"You know, he actually likes you. He wanted to pretend he was looking for Julianna but deep down that was just an excuse to see you and be with you" Lilo said.
I looked down.
"I don't see why you're mad at me. He's my brother and nothing could ever possibly happen. I care for him" I said.
"His love for you is strong though"
"That doesn't matter" I said.
"I should probably get going. See you around" she said and left.
I then heard him groan.
"My head hurts" he groaned.
"Here" I handed him some pills and a glass of water.
"William, I know why you were there yesterday. I already told you, nothing can happen between us" I said.
He scoffed.
"Not everything is about you Brooklyn!" he said, raising his voice which scared me.
"Stop lying! I've told you repeatedly times that we're siblings. I can't, we both can't look at each other another way" I said.
He then pulled me to kiss me but I pushed him back.
"William stop" I said.
"Please don't reject me" he said.
"I have to"
He then started walking towards the elevator.
"Stop William! Don't run away from your problems" I said, stopping the elevator.
"I'm not welcomed here"
"Yes you are. You're my brother and I care for you. I don't want us to stop talking for another three years"
He hugged me.
"Thank you for caring" he whispered.

After I got ready, I made my way to Time Square.
I walked around until I saw Luke.
"You came" he said.
"Why wouldn't I?" I smiled and he returned the smile.
He grabbed my hand and we went to his car.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Somewhere" he said.
The car stopped.
"I remember one time you had painted something" he said and got off the car.
"Painted what?" I asked, getting off.
We walked over and saw that we were at a lake.
There was more people and we walked to a small boat.
He helped me get on.
"You painted this" he said and everybody started throwing up floating lanterns.
My mouth dropped.
"Luke" I said speechless.
He then started lighting one.
He handed me one and light his.
We then threw it up.
He came closer to me and hugged me.
I leaned my head on his shoulder, watching all the lanterns.
"Brook?"
"Hm?"
"I need to ask you something"
I looked at him and he was grabbing something from his pockets.
"I've had you once and I lost you but I'm not repeating the same mistakes again. I'm trying so hard to not lose you, to make it seem that I really want you. We've gone through so much, I feel like you know me and I know you so well. I want you to be my forever. Brooklyn-" I cut him off.
"Luke, what are you doing?" I said, nervously.
"Please marry me" he said, grabbing my hands and showing me a ring.
I grabbed and looked at it.
"I'm scared Luke" I said, my lips trembling.
"I'm scared too, but I know by your side I can do anything" he said.
I started dropping some tears and he frowned.
"I love you Luke but I don't know if I'm ready"
He nodded.
"Just because you love me, I want you to keep this" he said and he took off the chain I was wearing.
He put the ring on it and put it back around my neck.
"Whenever you're ready, it can go on your finger. I just want you to have it in a sign of our love and that we are meant to be" he said and I kissed him.
