I haven't done a Tony Stark one-shot in a while. I got this idea after this clip from the I.T. Crowd, where the reader is a reporter for a magazine and has to do an in-depth interview with the one and only Tony Stark.

"(y/L/N)!" you hear your name being shout from the office all the way down the hall. You quickly leap to your feet and rush to your boss' office. "You whispered from across the hall, sir?" you joke as you step in. "Save the jokes for when you're off the clock, (y/l/n)," your boss sternly replies, "right now, you should be at the Avenger's facility five minutes ago." "Oh right," you realize, remembering you were supposed to interview a certain someone at that particular location. "Well, what are you waiting, hop to it!" he exclaims, to which you turn and hastily rush out of the office.

"Mr. Stark," Friday calls out to Tony, who was currently in bed recovering from a rather intense drinking game with the rest of team last night. "Mr. Stark?" the AI speaks up a little louder. "Friday, please," Tony covers his head with a pillow, "whatever it is, can't it wait till later, my hangover says it's way too loud in here."
"I'm terribly sorry about this, sir, but you've given me no choice," Friday says in a certain tone that suggested she was looking forward to this, "Now activating the wake-me-up protocol."

At once, the bed rotated a good 90 degrees, forcing Tony to flop right onto the ground. "Okay, okay, I'm up," Tony jolts up to his feet, "And, Friday, I told you that protocol was for end of the world emergencies only." "You also said anytime would be good to test out the new protocol," Friday retorts, "Anyway, a reporter from that (name of Magazine) is hear and is currently waiting in your office for your scheduled interview." "Interview?" Tony frowns a little, though most of that was still from his lingering hangover. "Yes, the one that was scheduled last week and had started ten minutes ago," Friday confirms like it's obvious. "Okay, don't sass me," Tony scolds, "I'll be there, in the meantime, just give the reporter guy or girl or whoever...just stall them." "No need, sir, Ms. Potts is taking care of that as we speak."

-------------Ten to fifteen minutes later---------

"I'm really sorry, it's taking so long," Pepper apologized for the fifth time, "Tony is usually pretty good at being on time...well most of the time, but he'll be here any minute now, I'm sure of it." "It's fine," you assure, "I get it, Tony Stark is an eccentric individual. But that's why I'm here. While we're waiting though, Ms. Potts, you've worked with Mr. Stark for a good number of years, what was that like?" "Oh well, you know, like any job it had its ups and downs," Pepper answers. "True, I know my job does," you nod, "but there must be something particular special about Tony that made stay with him for as long as you had."

Before Pepper could give you an answer, Tony walked right in, "Sorry I'm late," he speaks up, "late night in the lab, lost track of time completely." "Right, late night in the lab," Pepper smirks, knowing full well what the man was what to last night, "Okay, Tony this (y/n) the reporter, (y/n), you already know who Tony Stark is." "Nice to meet you Mr. Stark," you greet. "It's certainly nice to meet you too," Tony smiles a little. "Well that's outta the way," Pepper quips, "Now if you'll excuse me I have a company to run, so I'll you to it."

"So...Mr. Stark," you take a seat in front of Tony's office desk as Tony takes his seat behind the desk, "As you fully well know, I have a myriad of questions to dispel to you." "Well by all means, ask away, I have all the time in the world," Tony replies, "Though I'm pretty sure there's so much the public already knows about me." "But I...the people where I work, they want to know the specifics," you elaborate, "See I'm trying to build a picture of you as both Tony Stark and Iron Man and your role in the Avengers and Stark Industries." "Well it's sorta like this," Tony begins, "I am the boss, head honcho, El numero uno, Mr. Big, The Godfather, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Star Trek, The Bourne Trilogy, Jaws...I'm sorry I forgot what the questions was a while back, who are you again?"
