Chapter 23: The Ad In the Newspaper

Yo! This chapter in particular is about Five Nights at Freddy's. Yes, yes, please give me all of your hate. I love you guys.

11:00 P.M. Yuri's POV

I wake up next to Monika, like always, and I try to sneak out of bed, but I'm stopped because Monika pulls me closer to her.

"What's up? Why are you trying to leave?" Monika asks.

"Sorry, I got a little hungry..." I confess, and Monika kisses my forehead.

"Alright." Monika replies, letting me go downstairs to eat.

I see that Nyu and Lucy are watching a movie on the couch, and I also see that Schrödinger is watching it too, but his face isn't as interested as Lucy's and Nyu's. I head to the kitchen to get something to eat. I hear a few lines from the movie:

"A true war... a GERMAN war... the sequel you've all been waiting for! I! WANT! WORLD! WAR! THREE!!!" I hear from the movie.

"What the hell kind of movie are you guys watching?" I ask.

"It's hard to explain." Schrödinger states almost immediately after.

"Apropos, something came in the mail for you, Yuri." Schrödinger continues, handing me a letter.
Translation; By the way,

I take it curiously and scratch his head, thanking him before heading up to my room to open and read it. It turns out that it's just some stupid ad for a job I don't mind. I was so close to throwing it out without having any fuss, but sure enough...

"Hey, Yuri? What's that?" Monika asks.

"Oh, this? It's just a job application for a job I don't like. I was going to throw it out before you stopped me." I explain.

"Can I see it?" Monika asks, and I hesitantly give it to her.

"'Come and be a part of the band! Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria night watch duty from Sunday 'till Saturday, 12 P.M. to 6 A.M. Pay is $120.00. We hope to see you there!'" Monika repeats the text from the letter to me.

"Sounds fun! What could go wrong?" Monika continues.

"The fact that I won't see you for 7 whole hours, I'll get no sleep, I'll be stuck in a hot office all night, I won't be able to call you all... need I go on?" I explain, and Monika looks like she's thinking.

"It didn't say we couldn't bring anyone else to help in the letter here, so maybe we can bring Natsuki and Sayori too!" Monika explains, and I take a good look at that letter again, and it in fact did not say anything about that.

"Yeah, that could work!" I exclaim and hug Monika, thanking her.

I head to Sayori and Natsuki's room and knock on the door.

"Come in!" I hear Sayori respond from the other side.

I open the door and wave at them.

"Hey, Yuri! What's up?" Natsuki asks me.

"This job application came up in the mail, and I was kinda hoping that you two would come with me and Monika." I explain, and Natsuki stands up, arms crossed.

"And why would we want to do that? What kind of job is it anyway?" Natsuki asks.

"I-it's a s-security job at a pizzeria..." I shakily respond, and I immediately see Sayori beaming at me.

"That means we can get free pizzas!!!" Sayori exclaims.

"Yeah, but you still have to make it." Natsuki responds.
