Chapter 48: Lights, Camera... Horror?

6:09 P.M. Natsuki's POV

I groan in discomfort as Sayori and Eliza cling to me, sound asleep. I end up finally getting out of it before my 'Sayori Sadness Detector™' goes off, and I look behind me to see Sayori sadly looking at me.

"Where are you going?" Sayori asks.

"I... wanna talk to my mom. I'll be right back." I respond, and Sayori sighs heavily before smiling and flopping back down on the bed, ass in the air.

She's wagging her tails, coaxing me to come back, but I grit my teeth and bare the consequences before heading out to the foyer. I call my mom on speed-dial, and she answers instantly.

"Hey, honey! What's going on?" Mom asks.

"Well... aren't you filming another movie right now?" I ask, and she chuckles on the other line.

"Not at this moment, but I am being cast in it. We just need a twin-duo who look a lot like eachother and can take a serious beating, and if, their own stunts. I'm filming in another horror movie, you see." Mom explains.

"Of course you are. And, I feel like I have just the two you need!" I explain, and she squeals on the other line.

"This is such great news!!! Who are they? Where are they?" Mom asks.

"They're... at Sayori's house." I explain, and Mom groans.

"Natty, darling... why must you be so far away?" Mom asks.

"Quit being dramatic! I'll have a friend pick you up. See you in a sec." I explain, hanging up and heading back inside to Ruby's room.

Her and Weiss are snuggling. I curse myself out under my breath before lightly tapping Ruby. She moves around a little.

"Nuu, get yer own cookie, Nora..." Ruby mutters.

I groan before flicking her head, and she jolts awake, making Weiss wake up as well.

"Oww, Natsuki! That hurt!" Ruby whines, and Weiss glares at me.

"What do you want?" Weiss asks.

"I didn't want to hurt her, but she didn't wake up when I tapped her. And also, who's Nora? You were sleeptalking about her." I explain, and Ruby thinks.

"She's a dolt, like Ruby. But she's not like my dolt. Her Semblance is that she gets supercharged out of electricity, and she uses a warhammer." Weiss explains, and I smirk.

"Shocking. Now, I need Ruby for something." I explain, and Weiss holds Ruby closer before Ruby stands up of her own accord and smiles.

"What do I have to do?" Ruby asks, and I show her a recent picture of my mom.

"I want you to find this woman in Hollywood." I explain, and Ruby looks at me confusedly.

"...Hollywood? What's Hollywood?" Ruby asks.

"It's a place in America. And I'm just now realizing you don't know what America is..." I explain, and I hold my head.

"When you were racing Sonic and Shadow, did you pass an area full of people, buildings, stars on the ground and people shouting?" I ask, and Ruby nods.

"That's Hollywood. Head into the city and go to the address on the back." I explain, and Ruby turns the picture over to see an address to a place in Japan.

Ruby salutes me before dashing off in rose petals. Weiss counts down from three after a minute of us waiting, and when Weiss makes her hand into a fist, Ruby comes back with my mom in her arms.
