Chapter 31: Midna and Isabelle; Home Alone?

Yup. This is a bottle episode only containing Isabelle and Midna. Get used to having these two being a lovey-dovey couple as well as being a cute one. Also, this isn't going to be changed, like I did with Schrödinger and Midna, because fuck you. Plot twist.

12:00 A.M. Midna's POV

I wake up with Isabelle still on me, and I stretch, causing my bones to pop violently, waking Isabelle up.

"Did something happen?! What's going on!? Are you OK???" Isabelle asks a million miles a second, and I kiss her to slow her down.

"I'm fine. It's just my bones in the morning." I respond, and Isabelle giggles nervously.

"My mistake!" Isabelle chimes, and I can't help but smile.

"Wait, how is it that you can understand me in the first place? Hylian's one of the hardest languages to learn, and I don't know how to speak English..." I explain, and Isabelle smiles sweetly.

"I read a lot. You never know what reading papers can bring you! And, I'm not speaking English, so it's a wonder how anyone can understand me!" Isabelle chimes, and I kiss her nose.

"Then... what language are you speaking?" I ask.

"Animalese." Isabelle states.

"...you're joking." I state, and Isabelle shakes her head no.

"I'm serious!" Isabelle exclaims.

"Well, prove it to me, then!" I order, and Isabelle blushes before clearing her throat.

"Was that one of your favorite songs?" I ask, and Isabelle nods.

"It's by the most popular and only musician in all of Smashville, K. K. Slider!" Isabelle explains before sighing dreamily.

"I'd never cheat on you Midna, but he's a real dreamboat..." Isabelle states in a daze.

Nobody's stealing my Isabelle from me. Not on my watch.

I teleport to wherever Monika might be, and I end up next to her sleeping in an airport chair. I shake her awake gently, and she smiles at me.

"Oh, hey! What's up?" Monika asks.

"I need a memory deletion. Fast. Can you please erase all of Isabelle's attraction to K. K. Slider?" I ask, and Monika slyly glances at me.

"You aren't... jealous, are you?" Monika asks, and I cross my arms.

"Of course I am! Now hurry up!" I order, and Monika giggles before doing the thing.

"It's done! Just hope her entire personality isn't shifted!" Monika warns, and I wink at her, teleporting back to Isabelle, who's crossing her arms and scrunching her brows, trying to remember.

"Who was I just attracted to right now..?" Isabelle asks, and I put a hand under her chin, looking up at me.

"Me." I state, and Isabelle's blush gets even brighter.

I make my way downstairs to find that nobody's here. I look around and see a note on the door. I go to it and read it.

"Dear occupant of the house reading this,
I am deeply sorry we left you here, but we left to go on a day-long vacation. Isabelle told us on the way home that she dislikes planes, and Midna would just get bored on the way. I mentioned only those two because that's who was missing in the headcount. If you're wondering, we went to Japan. We'll be back by the end of the day.
