I look to Yuri.

"You are the best sister-in-law." Yuri states, and I kiss her nose.

"Charmer~. Now fall asleep." I order, and we all fall asleep.

I'll need it tonight.

"Psst. Zoe." Monika whispers, nudging my side.

"What?" I ask.

Monika turns to face me. She's smiling innocently.

"I love you." Monika responds, and I smile.

"I love you too, Monika. Now go to sleep." I respond, and Monika hugs me tightly before falling asleep, still holding onto me like I'm a teddy bear.

Ah, Zoe. I've finally reached your mind. How are you?

Piss off.

Lovely. Now, since you didn't make a single enemy, I'm going to GIVE you an enemy. Or rather, five. Have fun.

Wait, FIVE?!

No response. I sigh and snuggle in next to Monika deeper, who hugs me tighter. Yuri wraps her arms around the both of us. After an hour, I wake up first to find Monika still fast asleep, and Yuri gone. I look to the kitchen, and Yuri's drinking some tea while reading a book.

"🎵Baby sister~🎵" Monika sings, and I turn to her.

"Good morning to you too, Monika." I respond.

Monika puts a hand on my cheek, and she rubs my face.

"So soft..." Monika mutters.

I carefully take her hand off and place it on her own cheek.

"You're soft too." I respond, and Monika gasps.

"I aam!" Monika exclaims.

"Is she still under the anesthesia?" Yuri asks.

"Yup!" I respond.

Monika then takes a deep breath before she squeezes me as tight as she can. Of course, it doesn't hurt me. I squeeze HER as hard as I can, and instantly, she begins to cry.

"Ow, ow ow ow! It huurt..." Monika whines, and I ease up.

"Sorry!" I exclaim.

Monika tries to wipe her eyes off, but I do it for her, and she smiles at me.

"Hey, Zoe?" Monika asks.

"Yea?" I ask.

"Where's mama?" Monika asks.

"Monika, we talked about this. She's dead." I state sternly.

Monika holds her head.

"Stop yelling at me!" Monika cries.

"I'm not yelling at you, but damn it, do I want to." I retort.

"Do you hate me?" Monika asks.

"I could never hate you. You're just being difficult." I respond.

Monika puts her head in my chest, sobbing.

"I'm sowwy, widduw sistuw... pwese donn be maad..." Monika cries.

"Do you wanna see Yuri?" I ask.

Monika nods. I look to Yuri and whistle to her, making her look to me.

"Monika needs you, hun." I respond, and Yuri bookmarks her book before closing it before walking over to us.

Yuri bends down to meet Monika's head.
