Hoo, boy! This is gonna be one helluva chapter! And that's saying something.

6:09 A.M. Yuri's POV

I wake up next to Monika, who's snoring heavily for once. Her ribbon's out of her hair, making it spread out through the bed. I kiss her forehead before heading out to take a relaxing walk. When I make it to the local park, I take a deep breath, taking in the oxygen.

"It's a beautiful day, isn't it?" I ask myself aloud.

"I agree." A male's voice responds, and I dart my head in his direction, making him jolt a little.

He has yellow eyes that peirce right through you, blonde hair smooth as silk and a British accent that could make any woman's heart melt... but I'm not just any woman.

"Oh, my bad

"Oh, my bad..! I feel as if I... know you from somewhere... anyhow, my name is Yuri Ken. And you are?" I ask, holding out my hand.

He takes it, his grip tightening almost pervertedly.

"Maximus Guicciardi. A pleasure to meet your acquaintance." Maximus states, and he kisses my hand, making me blush and glare at him.

"W-what a... gentleman..." I state sarcastically, making him look at me with an almost meloncholic expression.

"Why so harsh? It's just a simple gesture of courtesy, Ms. Ken." Maximus states.

"...are you flirting with me?" I ask, and he chuckles.

"I see you're no fool, Yuri. And I've also noticed that ring on your finger. Who's the lucky girl?" Maximus asks, surprising me.

"H-how did you know I was married to a woman?" I ask, making him smirk.

"You just told me. And plus, your posture practically screams 'I'm a married lesbian'. And who else but a woman in a relationship with another woman wears a purple diamond ring?" Maximus asks, scaring me with every word.

"No need to be afraid. I'm just a friendly, lonely man in the neighborhood." Maximus states.

"Well, I haven't seen you around here before... are you new here?" I ask, and he nods.

"I just came here from... ah, blast it... what was it called again? En-gland? Eeng-land?" Maximus asks.

"England?" I ask.

"That, yes. Apologies, it's always been that one challenge of mine, saying that word. And now, I'm here in Dokidoki City." Maximus replies.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, but I must be getting back. Even though she's being a heavy sleeper today, I cannot risk her waking up to me being gone again, so... sayonara." I state, and I stand up and walk off before he grabs my arm, making me look back at him.
Translation; Goodbye.
