54 - STAY WITH ME

|Jiyoon's POV|

"I wrote this for someone special." Bin said then he started off.

"Someone special? Does he like someone? But.. who is it?" I mumbled.

As every lyric escaped from his mouth, it was like.. he speaks of his feelings. He was so absorbed into it.

I fixed my gaze on him just then, he looked at me too. I tried reading his expression but.. he was plastering the unreadable one, again.

I know it sounds a bit weird but, I felt something different listening to his song. Somewhere deep inside my heart was telling me something. Something I can't explain nor understand.

As his song ended, I sent him a big thumbs up with a smile on my face. Everyone clapped their hands in amusement, chanting "Encore! Encore! Encore!" But still, his statement was still stuck on my head.

I wrote this for someone special.

I felt a hand touch my shoulder as I turned my head. "Hmm? What is it Eunwoo?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Come with me. I have something to say." He said, grabbing wrist as I trailed behind him.

We headed outside the room then he let go of me. "What is it?" I asked.

"You know.. ever since the first day I met you, I felt something different." He started as he looked at me.

"I've been wanting to tell you this for so long, but I don't have much courage. Right now, I made up my mind. I can't keep it to myself for the rest of my life." He explained, looking straight into my eyes.

"Kim Jiyoon, I like you." He added.

Those words.. I've been longing to hear for so long.

"I.." My heart was pounding heavily against my chest, not knowing what to say.

But why? This is my dream. I've been hoping that this moment would come. But why can't I answer right away?

"Eunwoo.. I.." I stuttered.

"It's okay. I understand. I'll wait for your answer." He said, giving me a reassuring smile.

"Kim Jiyoon, I like you."

I'm laying down on my bed right now, with that statement stuck on my head. What am I going to do now?

"So, they're in a relationship already. She must be pretty happy." I thought to myself.

"Stop concluding things Moon Bin. You didn't even see her face. Ugh! This is driving me nuts. I was too late. If only I realized sooner.."

"No. This won't do. This isn't the end. I promised her that I won't be weirdo again. Cha Eun Woo, this is only the beginning."
