Part - 50

Nandani didn't turned back. Manik tilted his head on the pillow and said "Even though I have given you no reasons to care for a jerk like me. Then also why you are always concerned for me? How can you be so selfless Nandu?"

Without turning back Nandani replied "Don't think this as I care for you or have any soft corner for you. If anyone else would have been in your place then also I would have done the same, for the sake of humanity."

Without turning she jerked his hands, came on the bed and sleep without sparing him a glance..

"What I was trying to do? I am an idiot!!!" scolded Nandani herself while laying down on bed...

While Manik looked towards Nandani and thought "this humanity word is not for a monster like me Nandani!"

Whole night Manik thought different ways so that he could manofy Nandani but he could not come up with something...

In morning

Nandani yawned and sits on the bed while rubbing her eyes. She found Manik nowhere in the room when she opened her eyes. "Seems I am late!" said Nandani while taking out her clothes from the almirah and left for washroom.

After getting ready she came out from her room. She saw Manik and Dai Ma talking in the kitchen. When she was standing close to them she saw Manik was trying to do something with potatoes seems like starting a battle with potatoes while Dai Ma was looking annoyed. "May be Manik had irritated her a lot!!" thought Nandani..

"Good morning" said Nandani trying to gain their attention. Dai Ma and Manik turned their attention to Nandani. Manik gave her smile saying "good morning".

"Acha h puttar tu aa gyi, smjha isko" said Dai Ma pointing towards Manik...

Manik looked towards Dai Ma and then towards Nandani. He nervously smiled when he found Nandani confusingly looking towards him... "I was trying to make breakfast for us" said Manik..

"Really Manik!!! Were you trying to make breakfast or were you trying to start a battle with those potatoes?" said Nandani sarcastically..

"I was just going to mash them" said Manik innocently. While Dai Ma was smilingly looking towards them..

"Aur kya bnane k try kr rhe the tum?" asked Nandani crossing her arms...

"Umm Aloo parathe, jaisa tumne bnaye the na hmari shadi k next morning" said Manik in a flow while looking towards boiled potatoes. But then he stopped and looked towards Nandani who was looking at him..

He at once averted his gaze in seconds not knowing what to say more. Apparently that morning was the last morning when Nandani had made something for him that too with so much love but after that office incident their life take a 180 degree turn.

Now the situation is like he want to steal time to be with his wife. He probably needs to found out excuses or reasons so that he could stay close to his wife. If only he had not behaved like a jerk earlier, then probably today the equations between them would have been different.

"Tum chlo mai bna deti hu" said Nandani taking the bowl of potatoes from his hands...

"I would help you" said Manik at instant...

Nandani glared him in return, seeing her angry that too in morning he at once raised his hands and said "I am going, I am going!! Please gussa mat ho morning mai at least, my whole day would go bad vrna". Nandani didn't said anything but her gesture at once softened.

While Dai Ma laughed seeing Manik behaving like an obedient+scared student in front of Nandani. Manik pouted when he found Dai Ma laughing on him. He said "Dai Ma you are laughing on me na?"

"Mujhe kya bol rha h, agr meri jagah koi aur bhi hota toh voo bhi has rha hota tujhe dekh k.. Abhi tu bilkul nhi lag rha voo akdu Manik jisse baat baat pr bss gussa krna aata h" said Dai Ma smiling...

"Dai Ma" said Manik in irritation. "Aap chlo mujhe aapse bat krni h" said Manik while holding her hands. While unknowingly Nandani was smiling when Manik left with Dai Ma.

"Dai Ma aap Nandani k saamne meri tareef kra kro na don't call me akdu, say something sweet that I am sweet etc etc." Said Manik as he made Dai Ma sit on the chair.

"Puttar ek bat puchu suchi btayega?" asked Dai Ma getting serious..

"Ha puchiye na" said Manik..

"Puttar tere aur Nandani k beech sab thik h na?" asked Dai Ma..

Manik got surprised as he was not expecting this question. "Aap essa Ku puch the ho?" asked Manik...

"Tu bta sab thik h ya nhi?" asked Dai Ma suspiciously...

"Dai Ma voo actually main" fumbled Manik... But before he could continue Nandani cut him...

"Aloo k parathe ready h" cheered Nandani. She placed the breakfast on the table while Dai Ma looked towards Manik and then her..

"Umm kya hua?" asked Nandani as she saw Manik and Dai Ma serious faces...

"Kuch nhi puttar" said Dai Ma dismissing the topic.. While Manik got quiet, Nandani served Dai Ma and was going to serve Manik when Manik intervened.

"Tum baitho I would do that." said Manik... Nandani sits beside Manik while Manik served himself. He saw Nandani sitting quietly so he asked "Are you not going to do breakfast?"

"I thought why not we share a plate like we have done on that day" said Nandani smiling.. Manik got surprised hearing this while Dai Ma was silently observing them.

Nandani started eating from the same plate Manik was happy but somewhere he knew Nandani is just pretending that in front of Dai Ma. They silently eat their breakfast after which Manik left to get ready for office.

Before Nandani could go Dai Ma said "Nandani puttar aaj mai wapas jaa rhi hu aur fir pta nhi kab mille hum".

"Pr Dai Ma aap abhi itni jldi kuu jaa rhe ho aap rukiye na aur kuch din" was saying Nandani..

"Puttar jaana toh aaj hi h mujhe pr jaane se phle tujhse kuch bat krni h jaruri" said Dai Ma...

"Boliye Dai Ma" said Nandani..

"Puttar mai ye nhi bolungi tujhe ki kbhi glt hone de apne saath, sab kuch dekh kr bhi ankhe band kro... Lado glt se pr beta kbhi kbhi insaan bura nhi hota usse situations bna deti h vaise kbhi kbhi.. Kbhi kbhi usse jarurat hoti h kisi aise hamsafar ki jo uska saath kbhi na chode. Uske saath har waqt khada rhe lade use pr usse door na jaaye kbhi.." said Dai Ma..

"Pr Dai Ma aap mujhe ye sab.. Mtlb ye sab mujhe ku" said Nandani getting confused..

"Tu smajhdar h puttar khud samaj jayegi" said Dai Ma and kept her hands on Nandani's head..

Dai Ma turned to leave from their.. "Dai Ma aap Manik ki bat kr rhe ho na?" asked Nandani making Dai Ma stop..

Dai Ma turned towards Nandani but didn't said anything. "Aap hi bta dijiye ki kya hua tha Manik k past mai?" asked Nandani..

"Agr tujhe Manik khud btayega toh tujhe jyada acha lgega" said Dai MA smilingly..

"Manik mujhe ni btayenge kuch bhi" said Nandani...

"Btayega khud voo puttar aur jldi hi" said Dai Ma...

Finally I am back, now I know this part is not up to mark and is small too but right now I am little bit lost from where to start so need your help.
