how dare he?! honestly, i was stupid to assume he had feelings for me. i should've guessed he would've gone after the one cat who wasn't interested in (or related to) him: mistoffelees. i know i should be happy for him finally finding someone he actually likes, but i can't help but be devastated that it's not me. if only that was me. if only i could be the cat who wasn't interested, but really, how could i resist?
i glower at the two of them, snuggling and being horrifyingly adorable. tugger catches my eye at one point, but i look away immediately. seeing another cat in his arms is, frankly, infuriating. from where i am, i can hear mistoffelees purr. i hurry to sit with demeter
