Hoppo - Co-Workers

Zann's POV:
Hoppo has been acting odd recently around me. I can't quite think why but he has.

I walked into the tower which had Hoppo in. He noticed me and collected his radio. "I'm off." He said making his way to the door. "Hey boss." I said. "Hey Zann." He said quickly before walking out. Odd. Very odd. Harries, Reidy and Chappo were in the tower. I looked at them and they looked at me. "Was I the only one who thought that was odd or was it just me?" I asked taking a seat. "Umm no that was odd. Especially for Hoppo. He definitely has been acting odd lately." Reidy said. We all agreed and brushed it off.

Hoppo's POV:
It's time for me to confess why I've been acting all strangely around Zann. I walked into the tower knowing Zann was up there as she was on tower duty with two others. "Zann? Can I have a word in my office please?" I asked as the ones that were in the tower went "oooo." As we walked out. I heard mine and Zann's radio go off.

*Zann has been called to Hoppo lads you all know what this means*

I rolled my eyes as they found out about my feelings for her. But obviously they didn't tell her. We both made our way into my office. I shut the door and took a seat at my desk. "I just want to explain why I've been acting weird and odd around you for over 6 months now." I began. She nodded her head. I began to fiddle with my thumbs as I began to explain the rest. "Well the reason being is because I see you differently in a good way. You're beautiful and what I'm trying to say is that I'm in love with you. That explains why I've been weird lately but I totally understand if you don't feel the same way." I explained and she looked into my eyes.

Zann's POV:
I couldn't stop staring at Hoppo. If I'm honest I couldn't believe what he had just said. "I do feel the same way." I said making a smile appear on his face. "So..?" I asked. "Well Zann? Will you be my girlfriend?" Hoppo asked making my heart flutter. "Yes." I said leaning over his desk pecking his lips.

We walked out his office and back to the tower so I could get back to work. I walked into the tower and everyone went all silent. "Sooo what did Hoppo want?" Maxi asked with a smirk. "Nothing much." I said smiling grabbing my binoculars looking out at the beach. Hoppo leaned again the railing in the tower. "Enough of that guys. Back to work." Hoppo said chuckling as he walked back to his office.

The beach was closed due to a world wide pandemic (a/n: we will not mention the 'C' word) but I had to work. It was only me and Hoppo on the job today, well for now some of the others will be joining us later on to take over. I walked in to be greeted by a hug from Hoppo. We hugged for a good few minutes. "I love having you in my arms." He mumbled making me blush.

It was quiet. Also it was very odd for bondi to be quiet. It's never like this but for now it is, unfortunately. At least I get to spend a lot of time with Hoppo and not get interrupted with what we do. I was sat on his lap as he kissed my cheek a few times and me kissing his cheek back. We heard a knock at the door seeing the others that were here to take over. "Sorry about that." Hoppo said walking towards the exit door. "Thank you. See y'all soon." I said wishing them the best as they smiled at what they saw. I caught up with Hoppo after he collected his bag and the two of us headed home hand in hand.
