Your POV:
Lachlan and I have been best of friends for years and it's come to a point where I've began to catch strong feelings for him. It's hard to admit because it may end up either way, he likes me back or he'll just reject me like others guys have done in the past. We're constantly flirting with one another, well I hope it's flirting and not just saying nice things to each other. I do need to tell him how I feel as it may take over and then it could come crashing down on me which is not what I want.

Lachlan's POV:
I know she doesn't like me like that, that's the thing. She makes me happy but I feel like she doesn't feel the same way as me. It's hard to admit to her. We hang out 24/7 with one another and constantly make one another laugh. I can't tell if she's flirting with me or just being nice. My feeling for her have gotten stronger but I don't want to get my hopes up just incase she rejects me. Well there's only one way to find out.

Your POV:
All the lifeguards have been invited out to one big get together and a meal. We went to icebergs one of the nicest pubs in bondi. Lachlan and I arrived together as he just wanted to be with me when we arrived. Also if people saw us enter that they knew that we were "supposedly dating" or taken as he puts it but not one of us knew which one was true we'll actually both of them were false. Everyone got talking immediately and it was just like one big family reunion.

Time went on and there were stories being told and so many laughs. I had a few stories told about me. "Hey I'm just going to sit over by the bar." I said to Lachlan as he spoke with his mates. Yeah don't get me wrong I love them all to bits but I needed a bit of time to myself. It makes me happy to see Lachlan happy and smiling. Harrison came up to me smiling. We both get along well as we have most of our shifts together even with Lachlan sometimes. He took a seat next to me smiling. He's so goofy. "You're looking real good tonight y/n." Harrison said. I smiled. "You don't look bad yourself." I said taking a sip of my drink. We complimented one another for the past 30 minutes. I could see in the corner of my eye how Lachlan was reacting. Why does he act like this when I'm around other guys??

Lachlan's POV:
I saw him flirt with her. God it made my heart hurt. I thought she would love me. I mean I know she does. I can see it in her eyes but seeing the two of them made me somewhat angry that I didn't jump at the chance earlier. Why am I like this?! I clenched my cheeks a bit. "Lachlan are you alright mate?" Deano asked. "Yeah I'm fine." I said but clearly I wasn't. "What's up?" He asked. "They're clearly flirting with one another and it getting to me. She's supposed to love me not him." I said letting out my jealousy. "Go speak to her. That's the best thing to do mate." Deano said. I smiled and walked over to them. "Hey y/n. It's best if we left now." I said making her and Harrison turn to look at me. "But I don't want to leave." She said. Oh my god! "Come on. You can see him tomorrow." I said taking her hand as we left. She said bye to Harrison as we walked out of the pub.

Your POV:
I was fuming with Lachlan. He didn't need to pull me out of there just so we could leave. "Why did you make us leave?" I asked in an angry tone. "Because I couldn't stand seeing the two of you flirt with one another." He said staring at me. "Are you jealous?" I asked him. "And?" He said back. He was jealous. I knew it! "You're just jealous. Ok. I can't believe you took me away from someone who could've like me for once." I said still fuming. "You think you and Harrison would get together." He argued back. "I'm fed up with the way you don't see it. Can't you see that over the past few months we've been flirting and whatnot. You seem to ignore the fact that I like you Lachlan. I like you ok. Does that make you happy." I shouted. He looked at me.

Lachlan walked over placing his hands on my cheeks pulling my face to his as he kissed my lips slowly. I immediately kissed him back. We pulled away with our foreheads still touching. "I like you too y/n." He said making me smile. "I just didn't like seeing you and Harrison flirt with one another. It hurt my heart and I felt like you would've never loved me." Lachlan explained. "Of course I love you silly. I always have." I said making him smile. "Let's day we go back to mine and have a movie night for the rest of the evening." He said. I grabbed his hand snuggling into his arm as we walked. "That sounds perfect." I said with a big smile on my face.
