Hoppo - Not everything is perfect

Lily's POV:
Today was a busy day here at bondi. "Lily can you go rescue the guy that's in front as he's struggling." Mouse said. Hoppo was in the tower. As I headed down I noticed the guy that was behind him. He was literally underwater and was going to drown in I didn't go to him. "Jethro can you rescue the guy in front?" I asked. "But didn't Hoppo ask you to get the first guy?" He said. "He did but the guy behind is going to drown if I don't." I said paddling out to him as quick as I could. I pulled the guy on my board and got him back to shore. He didn't swallow a lot of water but I told him if he felt ill in anyway to take himself to the hospital.

I walked up to the tower after the rescue I just did. "Lily can you come to my office please?" Hoppo asked as I returned to the tower. "Sure." I said clueless on what was wrong. We made it to the office and he opened the door for me then I took a seat. "What were you thinking?!" He exclaimed. "What do you mean?" I asked. "That rescue you just did. You should've rescued the one in front as he was struggling the most!?" Hoppo said frustrated. "Well did you want the guy at the back to die. I got to him as he went underwater so I got to him just before he did drown." I explained. "That's not good enough!" He added. "What do you mean it's not good enough?" I asked getting slightly annoyed. "You should've listened." Hoppo said. I rolled my eyes. "You've got to be kidding me! You're telling me how to do my job when I clearly know what I'm doing and know when someone's in trouble. Jethro was right behind me to rescue the guy in front." I exclaimed.

I was boiling with anger. "Well maybe you should go out and do a rescue yourself then!" I replied back now angry. "I don't think you should speak to me like that." Hoppo said. "Look Hoppo I don't like to argue but can't we sort this out?" I asked. "Lily please don't bring our personal life into this. This is a current matter that we need to deal with." He said. "I see how it is. You don't care about us all you care about is you're job and if that's true then I'm done." I said tearing up. "Lily?" Hoppo sighed. "No dont 'Lily' me. I'm done with this job and with you." I cried getting up and leaving the office. I ran to the lockers grabbing my things and heading out. Luckily my best friend said I could come around anytime I wanted so now was when I really needed her.

Over the past 3 days I've had endless texts and phone calls from Hoppo. Also from a few of the others just wondering where I was. This was hard but it was needed and the time has come for me to go down and see them. I headed down to the beach and towards the office. I knocked on the door. "Come in." I heard Hoppo say. I've missed him. I opened the door walking in. "Lily?" Hoppo said standing up. We walked into one another's arms hugging each tight. "I'm so sorry." I cried. "Hey. Hey. It's ok. I forgive you." He said making me relax in his arms. "Let's forget what happened and move on from that. And focus on us." Hoppo said. I looked up at him with a smile. He smiled back. "Right let's get to work." He added as we both walked out of his office and to the tower.
