All lifeguards - See you again

Your POV:
Today is the final day. The final day of the best 6 years of my life. I wouldn't change it for the world but unfortunately it was time to move on with life.

Hoppo's POV:
Today is y/n's last day. She's been a star on this job and we'll all miss her dearly. I walked into the tower as we got the final things done for her goodbye party. "Guys we need to get the sign up before she arrives! She's due to start her final shift in an hour." I told them all. Maxi, Jethro and Noah began to hang up the sign for her.

We hadn't set out any food or drinks until the shift had finished as of course it was still morning and the part wasn't till later. "She's going to be here in 5!" Jethro exclaimed. All of us rushed a bit placing the final few bits around and making it look good for her. "She's going to love this." Luke told us.

Your POV:
I woke up feeling a little sad. It's my last day as a lifeguard here at bondi. I'm going to miss it. I took a shower then did my hair. I placed on the famous blue shirt for the final time. Once everything was done I looked at myself in the mirror for a bit. "You've done them proud." I said to myself with a smile. My bag was packed and I made breakfast eating it before I left.

Soon it was time for me to leave so I headed out my door and did the normal commute to work for the final time but it's not the final time I'll be coming down here. I walked into the tower hearing whispers from people. I turned the corner and got surprised by everyone that was there. There was a sign that was hung up which said:

'FAREWELL Y/N!'

Tears slowly filled my eyes. "Guys?!" I exclaimed walking over to them all. I placed my bag down hugging them all. "Ready for the final shift." Maxi asked. "Yeah but no." I said sadly. He smiled. "It'll be ok." He comforted me. I smiled. The two of us headed down to the rhino for the day.

The day came to an end and the beach closed. "It's been great spending my last shift with you Maxi." I said to him as he gave me a side hug. "Well we started off together and now ending it together." He said. On my first day here at bondi I was out with Maxi and now that it's been my last shift I'm was with Maxi. We headed up to the tower for the final time. Everyone was there. The doors of the tower shut for the final time that evening and all the ones that were and weren't working showed up.

Jake's POV:
While Maxi and y/n were finishing up on the beach all of us that were in the tower were getting all the food and drinks out and ready for the small party. Me and y/n go way back. We're not going to speak about that as that's for another occasion as today is all about y/n. We heard Maxi and y/n approach the tower soon walking in.

She was in shock. "Thank you." She thanked us. "You deserve this!" Reidy said with a smile. Hoppo stood up and standing in the centre grabbing everyone's attention.

Your POV:
I smiled. "Just want to thank y/n for being part of the team for the past 6 years. You've put a smile on all our faces every time you came in and we'll miss you dearly. Here's a gift from us all." Hoppo said handing me a gift. Everyone got talking and they would speak to me, thanking me for what I've done or how they're going to miss me. I walked over to Hoppo hugging him tightly. "Thank you Hoppo." I said. "Speech! Speech!" Maxi said with a smile making them all stare at me.

I smiled taking a deep breath. "I just want to thank you all for the best 6 years of my life. Everyone of you have taught me something new each day. I want to thank Hoppo for letting me on the team. My dad was a great lifeguard and knew Hoppo. My dad actually told him about me and of course Hoppo here let me train to be a lifeguard. Even though my dad is no longer with us he'll be looking down on us with a big smile. I love you dad." I began tearing up a little. "I'm so happy that I got to experience it with you all as I wouldn't trade it for the world. It's time for me to fly the nest. Thank you and I love you all!" I finished. Some of the guys were emotional. They wiped their tears which made me chuckle as I've never seen them cry before. "We'll miss having you around y/n." Mouse said. "I'll miss you too mouse." I said hugging him tightly. "Be sure to visit us." Harries said with a laugh. "For sure! I can't go without seeing you guys." I told them as we laughed. Honestly I'm going to miss them.

Soon the time came to an end. All the lads and ladies stayed back after work for a few hours in the tower. It was a nice final goodbye for us all. "I'll see you again." I said to them all leaving the tower for the final time.
