Whippet - Best friends brother

Whippet's POV:
My best friends sister. I've only ever saw her as his younger sister. I never saw her as anything else. That was until I saw her the other day.

*the other day*

My shift in the tower had finished same with a few of the others. We all walked out and headed in our own directions. "See you tomorrow mate." Chappo said as we walked away. I was walking towards my car and notice Niamh walking past. Wow. She's looking great. "Niamh?" I called. She turned with a smile. "Ryan. So good to see you." She said as we hugged. "You're looking good." I told her and she smiled at the ground. "You're not looking too bad yourself." She told me. "I haven't seen you in a few years. How have you been?" I asked. "Good. Been busy with work and life. What about you?" She asked. "Well I'm a lifeguard now so that's pretty much taken over most of my time." I told her. "Its good to see you but I best be on my way." Niamh said. "Ok I'll see you around." I told her before getting back into my car.

Since then we've seen a lot of one another around bondi. It's been good to catch up and finally speak. My feelings towards her changed. Everytime she would walk into the room I would get butterflies. She makes me happy. I just love the feeling.

Niamh's POV:
My brothers best friend. He only saw me as the younger sister and nothing else. I did have a crush on him before and I still do but it's never going to happen between us because he could be married. A few years have pasted now and I've grown up so much. I've also had a glow up some may say I haven't but deep down I know I have because everyone is perfect in their own way.

Ryan came round today. We decided to hang out today but Ryan also wanted to speak to me anyways. There was a knock at the door. I opened it letting Ryan in. He kissed my cheek. "Would you like a drink?" I offered. "Water please." He asked. I filled up to glasses of water heading to the sofa where he was sat. "So what did you want to talk about?" I asked taking a sip of my water. "Uh well I've got a confession." He began. "You can tell me anything." I said to him. "I'm just going to say it... I like you Niamh." He said. I was in a little bit of shock. "I like you too." I told him. We sat in silence for a bit until he spoke. "Niamh, you won't want to be with me because I have kids." Whippet said. "Ryan of course I want to be with you. Kids or no kids. I'll always love you." I exclaimed. Ryan smiled. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked as he held my hands looking into my eyes. "Yes!" I replied with a smiled. We both leaned in as our lips touched sharing a kiss and many more kisses to come.
