Troy's POV:
Y/n and I used to go on late night walks. It was better for us as we could actually spend sometime together rather than I quick hello and then food and then sleep when we came in from work. It was more than that.

I was walking towards my house and had to pass y/n's to get to mine. "Troy?!" I heard a voice called. I turn to see it's y/n standing there. I smiled weakly walking over. "We need to talk." She told me. Y/n invited me into her house. We're on speaking terms but we're on a break. A long one.

We took a seat on the sofa. "We need to talk about us." She told me. I sighed. "I love you Troy." She said with a smile. "You left me in the dark!" I exclaimed. She left me one night with no explanation and from there on it was never the same again. "We were so close maybe that's what hurt the most." Y/n said crying. "Deep down I know it's over." She muttered. I nodded.

She's changed. Changed a lot. "I saw you the other day actually. At first I didn't realise it as you, I didn't even recognise you but then you smiled and I know your smile from a mile off." I told her. "It was strange because I guess you don't expect people to change but I didn't expect it would've been you." I told her looking at the floor. "I deleted your number so I didn't call you." I admitted. I heard her sob. "I tried to have a conversation with you but you didn't let me in." I told her. She sighed. "I tried y/n. I tried so hard but got nothing back. I thought you were the one and you are the one but not right now." I sighed wiping my tears.

I headed for the front door walking out of the house and down the drive. "It's over. I'm sorry." I said crying. "I'll see you around I guess." She said walking off back to her house wiping her tears away. She made me happy so now I need to go find that happiness somewhere else.
