Dylan - announcement

Your POV:
It's been about a week since I found out about being pregnant. Nothing much has happened besides the morning sickness. Dylan and I headed over to my parents house. I'm kinda scared for their reaction as my parents are slightly strict. We walked in and began our conversation. "I'm pregnant." I told them. "You're what?!" My parents exclaimed. "Pregnant." I said again. "We heard the first time." Mum said. Dylan squeezed my hand. "I love you no matter what." He whispered. "I love you too." I said back. It went awkwardly silent for a while. "Are you not happy about this?" I asked on the verge of tears. "Give us sometime to think then we'll decide." They both said. "Ok." I said quietly as Dylan rubbed my back in comfort. Shortly after we left and headed over to Dylan's mum's.

Dylan's POV:
After being at y/n's parents and seeing their reaction put me on edge. What if my mums going to be like that?? I hope not. We arrived walking in. "Mum?" I called through the house. "Yes in the kitchen?" She replied. Y/n and I walked through the house and towards where she was. "Y/n! So good to see you sweetie." She said pulling y/n in for a hug. "Mum I'm still here." I said to her. She laughed. "I could never forget you." She said hugging me too. The three of us headed into the living room. "We have something to say." I told her as we sat down. "Ok." She said looking concerned. I looked over at y/n in reasurance. "Y/n's not pregnant is she?" Mum asked. Y/n looked at me. "I am." I heard her mumble as she fiddled with her thumbs. She did that a lot when she was nervous about something. I find it cute.

Mum looked at us in shock. "I promise you it wasn't planned." I explained. "I know. I'll be here for you when you need it and Y/n you're more than welcome to stay when you need too." Mum told us. "Thank you." Y/n said with a small smile. The three of us had a good conversation before Dylan and I left to go back to ours.

*still Dylan's pov/next day*

I walked into the tower at the start of my shift. We all got talking and we got on the topic of marriage somehow. "I have something to say." I spoke up. They all listened to me. "Y/n and I are going to be parents." I said to them all. They were shocked. "Well congrats mate." Reidy said with a smile. I got congratulated by them all. "I wasn't expecting you to say that this early but the two of you will make great parents." Deano said making me smile. "If you ever need any help with the baby or just some tips me and my wife are always on the other end of the phone." Whippet said. Chappo, Deano, Hoppo and Harries all agreed with what Whippet just said. "Thank you all for being supportive." I told them. I'm excited to meet the little bean.
