The following happened between 9am and 10am
Kim woke up, tired and hungry. Her first thought was of the investigative report she found in Richard’s drawer. So, she stood up, left her room and headed for Angel’s. Stepped into her room and kissed her forehead as she slept on. “Mummy loves you”.
Then she went ahead to Richard’s room, opened the drawer with the hope of rereading the report and handing it to the police later. She looked into the drawer. And her heart skipped.
She saw nothing.
The drawer was empty.
And the pictures and report were all gone.
