I cut some grapes into smaller pieces and add a few baby puffs to a plate and hand them to Elle on her height chair.

I'm in the process of making dinner but she's hungry so I have her a snack.

She munches on a puff, making a huge mess as she sucks on them, making them nice and mushy.

I still can't believe how time is flying. She's six months already. It feels like just yesterday she was born.

Hero is working on a movie right now so he gets home around dinner time.

"Do you like those puffs, peanut" I ask her and she smiles

I'm chopping up vegetables for tonight's dinner when my phone rings. It's Hero.

"Hello handsome" I say

"Hi love" he says

"Are you on your way home. I'm getting dinner started" I tell him

"The cameras were having some technical difficulties. I'm going to have to stay later than I thought. Just put a plate for me away, I'll eat it when I get home." He says

"How late do you think" I ask and he sighs

"I don't know but don't wait up, I'll try to be home as quickly as I can" he says and I let out a big sigh

"Okay" I say a little sad

"I'm sorry love, I promise I will make this up to you" he says

"Fíne" I say annoyed and he sighs

"Give Elle a kiss goodnight for me" he says

"Will do" I say

"Love you" he says

"Love you too" I say and we hang up.

"Looks like daddy is going to be late today" I say and Elle just continues to place snacks in her mouth.

I'm asleep in bed when I feel strong arms wrap around me and pull me close.

I turn over and rub my eyes open.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you" He says

"It's okay" I say turning to the clock that reads two o'clock in the morning

"You're home really late" I say and he sighs

"I know love, I tried to get out as quickly as I could" he says

"They can't keep doing this. This is the 3rd time this month you're home late" I say

"And I'm sorry" he says pecking my lips.

"Can I make it up to you" he ask

"How" I ask

"I could think of some ways" he says leaning in and kissing me.

I pull away and he kisses my neck.

"I'm not in the mood" I say crossing my arms over my chest.

"You've been saying how much you've missed sex. This is the perfect moment. The baby is asleep" he says and I shake my head no

"Not tonight" I say and he sighs

"Are you seriously mad at me" he says and I nod.

"I know you're working but I need you home more. I've been working my butt off taking care of Elle these months. During the day she's a lot of work. You don't see that because you come home at night and she's already calming down for the day" I say
