Chapter 46

Jo pov

I wake up to small kisses being placed on my neck. I run my fingers through hero's hair and giggle as I begin waking up.

"Good morning" he says pecking my lips

"Good morning" I whisper back

"Jaime needs you" he says and I groan

"Right now" I ask

"She said you have some photo shoots today" he says and I cuddle closer to his chest

"I don't want to" I whisper and he chuckles

"If your woman of the year photo shoot" he says rubbing my back

"Well this woman right here is about to call in sick to work today. I really want to just enjoy our time away from the kids and sleep. Is that so wrong" I say and he chuckles

"I will let her know 'you're not feeling well'" Hero says and I giggle laying back in bed

Minutes later we're getting a knock at our hotel door and I already know who it is.

I put a robe on and Hero goes to answer the door.

"I know you're not sick. Now get dressed missy, we have an important photo shoot today" Jaime says marching into our room

"Please Jaime. One day off" I say

"Jo, you're schedule is packed. I'm sorry but no" she says

"Hero, a little help here" Jaime says turning to Hero

"I'm not getting in the middle of this" he says

"Fine" I say and stomp to the bathroom

"Just a heads up, you have 20 minutes to meet me in the lobby. We're already running late" Jaime says and I sigh

I quickly shower, brush my teeth and comb out my hair.

I put a simple leggings and t-shirt on and once I'm done, head to the lobby with Hero.

Jaime escorts us to our car and there's fans outside the hotel, along with paparazzi.

I snap to take a few photos with fans. One girl starts to cry and I give her a hug.

After taking some pictures with fans, hero and I hold hand and hand and walk to our car that's waiting for us.

We drive to the shoot and Hero comes along for support.

The shoot went quicker than I thought. They snapped a few close ups and quickly found a good one. I mean I'm not complaining.

Hero and I are finally back home. I open the front door and it's filled with congratulations baskets and gifts.

"A muffin basket. Yum" I say and grab a muffin from the basket

I take a bite and reach over so Hero can try it

"Good right?" I say

"Really good" he says and I feed him another bite.

I wrap my arms around his neck and he holds my waist.

"What time are the kids coming home from your parents" I ask

"I asked if they could stay another night" he says

"Of course my mom agreed" he adds

"I was thinking of doing something special for you tonight" He says

"Hero, I don't need anything, you don't have to do anything special" I say and he chuckles

"It's too late love" he says and I hold a hand to his face and lean up to kiss him
