Chapter 28

Jo pov

"I'm not ready to leave this beautiful place" I say laying with Hero

Today we leave our long honeymoon and head back home to reality.

He runs his hands up and down my body and chuckles

"This was fun wasn't it" he ask and I nod leaning up to kiss him

He immediately kisses me back with more force and looms over me.

I place a hand on his face as we kiss and he runs his fingers through my hair.

He pushes into me and I giggle against his lips. We're passionately kissing when I start to feel sick to my stomach.

I pull away from his lips and he goes to kiss my neck.

I place a hand on his chest and lay my head back.

"I'm sorry" I whisper as he pulls out of me and tilts my face to look at him

"No that's okay. What's the matter" he ask

"I'm not feeling so great. I think I'm going to puke" I say sitting up.

I run a hand through my hair and I feel it coming.

I hop out of bed and run to the toilet. I puke everything into the toilet.

Hero comes to my side and holds my hair. He's put pants on now and hands me a robe.

When I'm done, I sit in his lap on the bathroom floor while he lovingly rubs my stomach.

"Whats today's date" I whisper to Hero

"29th" he says and I sigh, laying my head against his chest

"What" he chuckles

"Hero, I think I'm pregnant. I'm late" I whisper a little more annoyed than I wanted to

"Is that not something you want" he asks

"I don't know. I was kind of hoping we could wait a little for when Elle got older and I was really looking forward to getting back to work. Anna is going to kill me, I can't be pregnant again while trying to film the After movies" I say

"You haven't even taken a test, let's not freak out about this" he says and I stand from his lap and brush my teeth

"I'm not ready to be pregnant again" I say As I brush.

"We just got married. I would like to enjoy some time with you as a married couple but no now we have another baby to worry about" I say and he looks at me surprised

"Jo, I never knew how upset this would make you" he says

"I'm not upset. I'm happy, I just I don't know" I sigh

"You sound pretty annoyed to me" he says grabbing his tooth brush and brushing his teeth

"Why are you picking an argument with me" I say turning to him

"I'm not" he sighs and I roll my eyes walking out of the bathroom.

I grab my towel and head for the shower.

"Look" Hero says wrapping his arm around my waist

"Just because you puked and you're late on your period doesn't mean your absolutely 100% pregnant. You've been taking your birth control right" he says and I nod

"Then you're fine" he tells me and I lay my head on his chest.

"I love our daughter and I can't wait till we have more kids but do you know where I'm coming from" I say and he kisses my head

"I do love. I'm sorry about what I said" he says

"I'm sorry too" I say he leans down and pecks my lips.

I head to take a shower and he starts to pack.

"I know you missed mummy and daddy but it's time for bed" Hero says to Elle as he tickles her on our bed

She erupts into laughter and giggling.

Hero lifts her into his arms and leans her towards me.

"Say goodnight mummy" Hero says and u giggle

"Goodnight baby" I say, kissing her head and she holds my face with her hands

"Mama" she says with a huge smile

"I love you" I say playfully kissing her cheeks, only making her laugh more.

"Time to go peanut" Hero says and leaves with a whining Elle. Oh no, someone's upset.

I grab the box from my purse and head to the bathroom.

Hero and I picked this up before we came home. I read the instructions but they seem self explanatory.

This is the first time out of both the times I found out I was pregnant I'm actually taking a test.

I pee on the stick and I realize my hands are shaking.

It's not that I don't want another baby, I do.

I just feel like Hero and I are going through so much life wise, we really can't handle another baby right now.

Hero is all for it because he doesn't have to carry a baby inside him for 9 months, then painfully push it out.

If only he could understand my pain.

He snaps me out of my daze when he walks into the bathroom.

"What does it say" he ask

"I just took it. I have to wait" I say, placing it on a paper towel and washing my hands.

He holds my waist and kisses my head.

"Whatever it says. I'm here for you. I love you" he says and I nod, pecking his lips.

"Thank you" I whisper against his lips

The test beeps, telling me it's ready.

I look down at the results and quickly show Hero.
