Chapter 41

Jo pov

I twirl around in my white dress and hero stops me by putting his hands on my waist.

"You look stunning" he says and I smile up at him

"I just wish I didn't have this huge belly" I say and he holds a hand to my belly

"You're pregnant with triplets. I think a huge belly is understandable" he says

"It still blows my mind, there's three babies inside me" I say looking down at his hands that are rubbing small circles on my belly

"You make me so proud everyday for that" he says and I lay my head on his chest

He tilts my head a little and gently kisses me.

Elle comes running into our room so hero and I break away from our kiss.

"Mommy, can I please wear my princess tiara to the party" she says and Hero picks her up and kisses her cheek.

"Of course you can, our little princess" I say and gently run my fingers through her hair.

"But please let mommy brush out your hair, I know you hate it but it has to get brushed everyday" hero tells her and she begins to whine.

"No, I just want to wear my tiara" she says with a face full of tears

"You will. I just have to comb that messy hair real quick" I say and I take her from Hero's arms.

I sit her on her bed and she leans back on me sucking apple juice out of her sippy cup.

I gently run the comb through her hair and once it hits the first knot, she's a screaming mess.

"No more mommy" she whines and I sigh

"Elizabeth, we're almost done" I say and she runs out of the room.

I drop the brush on her bed and go back to my room to finish getting ready.

Today we're having a gender reveal party at the house. Family and friends are stopping by. It should be a fun day.

I look over and see Elle is playing dolls with Khadijah and Shane in the living room.

Hero has his arm around my waist as he talks with a co worker he worked with on a film a while back.

"So H, you were going to have a party and not invite me" a very loud savannah says walking into our house.

Everyone turns their eyes to her.

My eyes go wide and so does Hero's.

She's pregnant.

She spots us and walks up to us.

"I can't believe you wouldn't invite me to your party. After everything we've been through" she says holding a hand to her belly

"It's a small party, only close family and friends. What are you doing here" Hero says to her

"Came to support my favorite guy, also tell you the news" she says

"What news" he asks annoyed

"That you're going to be a father yet again" she says excitedly

I quickly turn to Hero angrily and he turns to me and holds my waist.

"She's lying Jo, do not believe her. Nothing happened between us" hero quickly says

I take the three of us to the kitchen and cross my arms over my chest.
