Third person p.o.v:
Jin opened the door, seeing Jungkook at the door, he turned around and got inside the house without saying anything. Why would he anyway? In his head, Jungkook doesn't want to talk to him because he have done something wrong, or that the omega doesn't want to talk to an older man like him, which he completely understand so he kept his distance. Not interacting with Jungkook was hard, but nothing that hard for him, ignoring was the best option so he took it.
"Do you think he will forgive me?" Jungkook whispered to Namjoon, who shrugged, not knowing how to answer.
"Get in, or do you need some kind of invitation?" Yoongi commented, looking at Namkook's interaction, feeling a bit jealous.
"Yes, will you hand it to us?" Namjoon said sarcastically.
"No, Jungkook lives here, he doesn't need one but you in the other hand." Taehyung said, joining the conversation.
"Aren't you getting rude?"
"Quit it, the food is getting cold." Hoseok said, then glanced at Jin, usually he will be the one to stop anything close to a dispute, but now he is just sitting on the table, not doing anything, which was concerning, quiet Jin is a sad Jin or a troubled Jin, or worst both. Hoseok decided to talk to Jin after dinner, to know what was wrong with him.
They ate in complete silence, other than the occasional talks or laughs, that Jin didn't join in. Jin is their adrenaline, he gets them hyped and more happy, he adds a flavor to their time, with him being quiet they felt awkward and weird.
"Jin-hyung, wanna hear a joke?" Taehyung said, out of nowhere, making everyone stare at him.
"Go ahead." Jin replied, not giving much care to it.
"Why was ten afraid of seven? Because seven ate (eight) nine." Taehyung
"Nice one." Jin said but didn't even smile, continuing to eat his food.
"I have one! Why did the chicken cross the road?" Jimin waited to someone to say why and lucky for him, Jungkook was there to help, by asking why, which he responded with.
"To get to the other side." Jimin
"Hmm." Jin
"I am next. Why are ghosts so bad at lying? Because you can see right through them." Hoseok
Jin didn't react so Namjoon was the next to go. "Ehmm.What do I do when the ice cream is too cold? I scream."
"I don't know what's worst, your jokes or the look on your faces when no one laughs." Yoongi said, tired of their stupidity.
"Why don't you try?" Namjoon
"I know I can't, so I don't. That's the difference." Yoongi
"Pfft, you are just not confident enough." Hoseok
"And? What does confidence do to someone with bad jokes? Embarrass themselves." Yoongi
"But Jin-hyung never felt embarrassed." Jimin
"He just hides it or lost the ability to feel it." Taehyung
"But hyung's ears get super red when he is in the center of attention, so he does get embarrassed." Jungkook
"Even his neck gets red sometimes." Jimin
"I am right here if any of you forgot." Jin said, being done with them.
They all turned to him, a weird look on their faces.
"He can talk! Oh my god!!" Hoseok said, a surprised look on his face.
"I thought he lost his voice 42 years ago, is it just a rumor?" Taehyung added.
"We can hear it, so maybe it is." Jungkook said, not able to hold his laugh.
"We need to celebrate! Get the champagne." Jimin said in excitement.
"We don't have it, I will go buy some and maybe balloons." Namjoon got up from his seat, and left. No joke.
"I will play a song." Yoongi got up as well.
"Party it is!" Taehyung got up as well. "Let's clean the table, dinner is over, party is on!"
"I will move the sofa." Hoseok said, going to living room.
"I will help." Jimin said, following Hoseok.
"What just happened?" Jin asked, looking around him, confused of what happened in these two minutes.
"We are having celebration." Jungkook declared with a smile.
"I am not going to be a part of it, I am out." Jin got up from his seat, planning on leaving the house.
Jungkook quickly got up and stopped Jin, by holding his hand.
"What?" Jin turned to look at Jungkook, finding him on one knee, a rose in his hand. "What are you doing?"
"I am sorry. I am sorry I avoided you, I wasn't thinking straight, I thought it was the right thing to do but I was wrong, I didn't think of how it will affect you and just went and did it, I am stupid and dump, I am sorry. But please stopping ignoring me, all of us and please talk, it's not the same when you are quiet, it's empty and dark, so please?" Jungkook almost had tears in his eyes. If he knew it will turn out this way, he would have let Jin meet him, know they are mate, because not being able to see the oldest, was harder than not drinking banana milk for two weeks.
"I will think about it, but for now I will take the rose, thank you." Jin took the rose and turned to the door.
"Wait! Please don't go." Jungkook
"Who said anything about going? I am getting the anima ears out my car and you will wear the bunny ones for the whole night, that's the only way I am forgiving you." Jin
"Okay! I don't mind!" Jungkook replied with a bunny smile, making Jin chuckle and mumble to himself. "What a cute bunny."
"He chuckled! He chuckled!" Jungkook jumped up and down in excitement, glad that he could see Jin's smile again.
"Jungkook! Help me clean the table! That way we can finish faster." Taehyung
"Alright. Coming." Jungkook
