Ever since that adrenaline filled kiss, you and Sadie had been together. And you had stayed together with every move and every loss, every stupid mistake that had led the gang to Beavers Hollow. It hadn't been an easy journey but at least you had each other.

Now the two of you were sitting at the bar in a saloon in Saint Denis. Well, Dutch was at the bar with you both but neither of you were paying him much mind.

"Another drink, Mrs Adler?" you asked as the two of you came to the end of your beer bottles.

"Why certainly" Sadie nodded, putting on an overly proper voice that made you chuckle.

You ordered two more drinks, the two of you picking the bottles up and clinking them together before drinking. Your attention turned to the saloon doors when they opened, Arthur walking in through them.

"There you are" Dutch perked up a little, glad that everyone was finally here.

"Here I am" Arthur nodded.

"Come on, let's go" Dutch stood from the bar, clearly not planning on waiting around any longer. You and Sadie put your drinks down and turned to the two men, also eager to get moving.

"Let's go where?" Arthur asked. "And why're you two so riled up?" he looked to you and Sadie, raising an eyebrow at you both.

"Today is a great day, Arthur. Today is the day they are going to hang Colm O'Driscoll" Dutch told him with a smile that didn't really fit the occasion.

"That so?" Arthur asked, following the three of you to the back of the saloon.

"For once, Mr Morgan, Dutchy is right. Today is a wonderful day" you told him with a smile of your own.

"Either they hang him, or I shoot him..." Sadie shrugged.

"I'd say that's fair" you hummed in agreement.

"Oh they are going to hang him" Dutch assured you all.

"Yeah...and not before time" Sadie huffed.

"That boy's been on the gallows more than most. I wouldn't count anything until his neck's broke" Arthur shook his head, rightly pessimistic.

"Well, nor would I..." Dutch agreed as he pushed a package into Sadie's arms and another into yours. "...which is why, despite us being wanted men..." he ushered you and Sadie into a back room to get changed. "...we're gonna attend the event ourselves" he told Arthur as he closed the door.

"I refuse to let that man kill my good mood" you huffed as you began to open your package.

"You better be careful he doesn't kill you as well" Sadie warned playfully.

"Oh I'm not worrying about that. I know you'd never let him" you smirked at her, making her chuckle.

The two of you got changed out of your usual gunslinger clothes and into relatively nice dresses. Sadie was dressed in yellow and you were dressed in red, both of you helping each other straighten out the clothes and look presentable.

"You clean up nicely" you complimented.

"As do you" Sadie smiled as she straightened out the collar of your blouse for you.

"You ready to do this? To finally see Colm O'Driscoll swing" you asked, wondering what was going through her mind.

"Have been for a long time" Sadie nodded.
