(Chapter 21)
A fanciful display

"We want you to try this trick. If you pull it off well it could be a real statement in your music video" the manager (Chi-won, Jimin had later discovered when looking at the documents describing the scenes for the video).

Chi-won showed them the brief video and it took all of them a minute to process what they had seen.

"You want someone in the flock to carry another on their shoulder and do that?!" Jin protested.

"An Alpha carrying an Alpha would cause to much fighting" Namjoon imputed immediately after.

"But an Alpha carrying a Beta should be no problem" Chi-won turned a dastardly smile towards Jimin. Who blanched at the look.

"We want Jimin and Jungkook to perform the trick" Chi-won added further. "Jungkook is after all one of the strongest of the group"

Tae snickered lightly under his breath, remembering their game of truth or dare. Jungkook flashed a glare at him golden wings tensing with irritation.

Jimin grabbed Jungkook's hand before he could flick Tae in the side. He shook his head at him. Jungkook felt like a scolded child in that moment, he decided he sincerely disliked seeing that look on Jimin's face. And instead went to play with Jimin's fingers as a distraction.

"How long do we have to learn the move?" Jimin inquired.

"The afternoon so roughly 4 hours we need the shot by the end of the day. The scenes we shoot today are the last of them before we do the special effects and your debut becomes official" Chi-won stated and with that he turned and left, signalling the end of the questions and his word to be final.

"How do you suppose we do it?" Jimin turned to Jungkook. Who had a mischievous look on his face. He promptly swept Jimin up into his arms bridal style. Jimin batted his wings out in protest, navy blue wings smacking the youngest in the face in the process.

"He really is as light at you say Namjoon-hyung" Jungkook stated leaning his head back to avoid another sweep of the Beta's wings.

"What?" Jimin squeaked, turning an accusing stare at Namjoon, cheeks flushing pink. Wings temporarily stopping their hurried movements.

"You were tired after practice yesterday fell asleep in the car so I carried you inside." Namjoon grasped the back of his neck sheepishly.

"I thought you said he was 'too cute to wake up'" Taehyung said, a growing grin on his angelic face. He put bunny ears around the words 'too cute to wake up'.

Namjoon's face flushed as he dipped his head in embarrassment. Not one to see Namjoon embarrassed Jimin intervened, after all the Alpha was shy enough as it was.

"Well Namjoonie-hyung is a very handsome Alpha, so I was glad he acted like a gentleman and carried me to the apartment" Jimin said as he pinched Jungkook's bicep causing the younger to drop him onto his feet, he stumbled as he landed, well because he is Jimin.

He watched in amusement as the Alpha's all began to protest saying that they were handsome and gentlemanly as well. Jimin took his place beside Namjoon and gave him a cheeky smirk. Namjoon rolled his eyes fondly at the Beta. As Jin's voice carried out louder than all the other members, if course it did.

"I thought you said I was the most handsome Alpha you had ever seen Jiminie" Jin pouted as he stood before Jimin, he was putting on a watery eyes tactic.

"I didn't say you weren't" Jimin said reclining back against the wall that he and Namjoon had taken too during the squabble.

"We should get to practice, we only have a short window to get this move perfected. And I agree with Chi-won this could make a statement in the video" Hoseok's voice echoed around the clearing. He began to usher them to the area clearly set up to help them practice the move.

"How am I going to do this? I don't want to accidentally kick your wings" Jimin asked nervously.

"He does have a point" Taehyung stated.

"How about we hold ourselves like this." Hoseok ever the perfect dance teacher began to display a move. He swung his left wing infront of his body leaving a portion of his back vulnerable. The right wing swinging up and extended in the area.

"Now you all line up next to me" Hoseok prompted.

Jin took his position on the floor as essentially a boost to help get Jimin in the air. Hoseok had set the example, Namjoon joined him, followed by Tae and eventually Yoongi.

Jimin couldn't help but marvel at how well their wing colours worked together. He grinned as Jungkook prepared to lift him, with a firm nod Jungkook hoisted Jimin up and onto his shoulder careful to pull his golden wing out of the way Jimin imitated running along their backs. And as his foot briefly touched their backs they dropped flaring out their right wings creating a rainbow of colour.

Dropping him onto his feet Jungkook dropped to his knees and flared his own golden wings up essentially framing the Beta as he would perform the high note for the scene.

Later when they perform the scene on camera, Jimin could see the smile lighting Chi-won's face. Taking that motivation, he belted out the highest note straining his voice till it was perfect. His navy blue wings flew out as he took flight briefly, he gave a smile to the camera infront of him before closing his wings around them coating the cameras view with blue.

"Perfect!" Chi-won declared like a excited child. His eyes glistening with pride.

"Excellant performance Jimin, when you took flight with the high note" Chi-won continued.

Jimin flushed under the praise allowing Jin to pull him into his side.

"Proud of you" Jin muttered.

"Thanks Jinnie-hyung" Jimin smiled.

That night the music video was up and the views started to roll in. Only 1000 views but it was more than enough. 100 thumbs up showed up on the YouTube video and Jimin couldn't help but grin. All the work was worth it. All the hiding was worth it. Because now he was truly an idol.

This is going to be the first update of 3 today I am doing it in celebration of Jimin's birthday. It may have been yesterday as I live in a different time zone to South Korea. So 13th October is today for me.

But anyway I know this chapter is shorter than most of my other chapters but it was more of a filler chapter seeing as the last chapter was getting long so I wanted to finish it up.
