"Thank you so much." I smiled at the Uber driver before exiting the car, making my way to the main entrance of the hospital. My nerves were running on overdrive and I felt almost faint as I trudged my wobbling legs to the front desk.

You cannot get Austin back if you become a patient here yourself Lee.

I quickly reminded myself as I pulled it together, forcing a smile as I approached the receptionist.

"Hi, I'm here visiting Austin Post." I said quietly, as I didn't want to advertise to the entire lobby that he was still admitted in the hospital.

I was sure most of the town probably knew about his accident and I had been so caught up in my own head that I hadn't even had the chance to check the news regarding the car crash.

"Look, you're the fifth fan today trying to get in to see him. It's not happening." The girl at the front desk rolled her eyes at me as she reverted her attention back to her cell phone.

"I'm um- I'm not a fan. I'm one of his managers. I was here yesterday but I came in through the emergency entrance-"

"Look sweetie. Nice story but I said no." She gritted her teeth and darted her glare towards me.

I sighed in exhaustion as I couldn't place any blame on her. She was just doing her job but she was doing it a little too well and it was preventing me from seeing the love of my life and the man I was suppose to be winning back.

"Look I know you are just trying to keep the crowd of fans under control, but I am his girlfriend and I really need to see him." I pleaded as I was already beginning to lose my patience with her.

"I thought you were his manager. Now you're his girlfriend." She chuckled as if I were giving her some sort of made up spiel of pretending to know Post Malone.

"I'm sort of both. Look just-"

"You need to leave right now before I call his security. They are not playing around today so save yourself the trouble and the embarrassment and just go." She determined as I wanted just roll my eyes in the back of my head at her firm speech.

"Call them." I quietly stated, not wanting to argue with her or match her bad attitude as I kept my cool and remained calm.

She scoffed under her breath as she picked up the phone, dialing the extention to the unit.

"Hi can I have Austin Post's security guard down here please." She stared at me as she spoke to the person on the other line.

"Yes another fan trying to get in." She went on as a smug smirk formed on her face as she hung up the phone.

"You've got some balls. Most of the other girls ran away once I threatened to call security." She shook her head at me as if I were absolutely out of my mind.

I said nothing to her as I scrolled on my phone with one hand, waiting to see who was on duty and ran my other hand through my dark locks.

"Lena! Hey you made it." Jeremy called as he walked off the elevator, a warm smile on his face as he greeted me with a hug.

"There was a call to the unit about another out of control fan trying to sneak into Austin's room. Can you believe this shit?" Jeremy rolled his eyes as he looked around for said fan.

I couldn't help but chuckle at the situation as I shrugged my shoulders and rolled my eyes upwards.

"Guilty. I'm the crazy fan trying to get in." I raised my hand, earning a look of confusion from Jeremy, who's eyes darted to the receptionist.
