I couldn't believe it. I have been waiting for 4 years for this day to come and now it's finally here.
My first thought was Piper. I want to see Piper. But I don't know where she is, who she's with or what she's doing.
Is she single? Does she even remember me? Or has she completely moved on with somebody else?
So many thoughts went through my head that for a second, I wished my sentence didn't end today.
I got so used to living in this prison, in this cell, that I couldn't even remember what freedom looks like.
