"We've been wondering the same, Pipes. Take this.", I said and gave her ibuprofen.

"Al...why am I on the kitchen table?"

"Babe, I don't know. We got totally fucked up."

Piper sat on the edge of the table and took the pill;
"What time is it?"

"It's 11.45."

"Oh okay.", she took a sip of water and spilled it out;
"Shit! Fuck! We're late!"

"What are you talking about?"

"To the fitting thing! Shit, Cal is gonna be so pissed off!"

She took her phone and looked at the screen. 15 missed calls.

"Shit!"

"Babe I'm sure they can manage it without you. Just relax."

"Relax? Relax?! Shit!!"

I took the phone away from her and started typing.

"What are you doing!?", she tried to take it away from me.

"There. Fixed.", I gave it back to her and she immediately checked what I had done.

"Got sick, wouldn't wanna pass it on to you. Probably contagious."

"Shit. Shit. Shit.", Piper panicked and walked up and down the kitchen.

"You need to relax, babe.", I took a sip of water and looked around the kitchen.

A half empty bottle of whiskey on the table, another empty bottle of it on the floor and an empty bottle of champagne in the sink. I walked towards the one on the floor to pick it up when I stepped into something sticky.

"What the fuck? Why is there alcohol on the floor?"

"You need to relax, babe.", Piper said mockingly and winked at me.

"What's cookin' good lookin'?", Nicky walked into the kitchen with wet hair and a towel wrapped around her body.
I walked to the bedroom and took out some of my clothes;
"You can wear these."

"What, uh, you used to undress me and now you want to dress me? Fuck, you guys are really serious about the whole marriage thing, eh?"

I smiled at her, walked up to Piper and pulled her by her waist;
"Yes we are." Piper smiled at me and kissed my lips.

"So when's the uh, wedding then? I'm still waiting on my invitation. Or am I not invited? Do you have a strict no ex-cons policy?"

"Well techically, if we had a no ex-cons policy, we couldn't be there either.", Piper's smart mouth opened.

"Of course you're invited. It's next month. I will text you all the deets.", I winked.

"Cool. Well, uh, I better get going."

"Already? You can stay for lunch.",
I suggested.
