The movie ended and everyone started to leave, as did we.
"So, where are we supposed to meet those two?, I asked.
"At a bar around the corner.", Piper replied.
"Good, so that means I'm only a few feet away from my first shot of the night.", I mumbled to myself.
"What?", Piper asked, not knowing whether I was talking to her or not.
"Nothing babe, I was just mumbling to myself about how fun it will be.", I said and smiled.
"I'm sure you'll have fun.", she held my hand as we walked onto the street. It was already night and the street lights were making it easier to see our surroundings.
"That's the place.", Piper said and pointed her finger at a bar I had never seen before. The sign read "Trinity's" in black and white. We walked in and went straight to the bar.
"3 shots of whiskey, please.", I said to the bartender.
"Hey, we're over here!", Polly shouted from a table near the restrooms.
"Hey!", Piper waved with a smile;
"Are you good on your own for a minute? Can I just go hug her real quick? I mean if not, I can totally wait here until you get your sh---"
"Just go.", I rolled my eyes.
"I'll just be a minute. You're the best.", she kissed my cheek and left. I got my shots, downed every one of them and ordered two more. I really didn't want to go and sit at that table, so I procastinated. The bartender gave me two shots and another glass of something else.
"This is from a woman that's sitting next to the pool table.", the bartender said and placed a Manhattan infront of me. I slowly turned my head and looked over my shoulder to see who it was from. I raised my eyebrow in surprise, picked up the Manhattan and walked over to the table.
"Hey."
"Hey! Long time no see! Are you here alone?"
