I AM STARING AT THE FIRE WAITING FOR DAWN. It's quiet in the common room. These past few days I have been avoiding Finlay because I know he wants to talk to me about the ball. I haven't spoken to Lex or Draco because I isolated myself ever since it happened. I notice how someone sits next to me but I don't bother looking up. "I heard about the ball, are you okay?" I glance at the girl. "I am pretty sure everyone heard," I whisper before looking at my hands. "No one has been themselves lately. I told you this before, but you are never here anymore. Nora, she has her hands full with Elliot because I think they have trouble in paradise. Genevieve got a letter from home. I believe her family is hiding for the death eaters as we speak. Audrey is just so lost without our group being complete...-"
"Sage...- I know I haven't been there and I am sorry... Merlin, we just should've started our game again." A sarcastic laugh escapes my mouth making the girl chuckle as well. "Yea I think so too, it kept our group alive. Besides everyone is basically sleeping around with boys anyway... Well except me and Lenora of course-" Sage runs her hand through her hair with a small smile. "Oh, so you and Lukas are officially together?" "We are officially dating, that's something else." "If you say so-" I laugh as I push her playful. "Oh shut up... Let's do something together tomorrow, and I mean the whole group. Maybe we can do some drinking games and hang out in the courtyard. You know, like old times." "That sounds good-" She smiles at my respond before getting up. "Are you also coming back to the dorm or-" I shake my head. "I need to do something first and after I will probably go to breakfast early." "But-" "I can't, I need to tell someone I am sorry before I can start being a better friend. Dear Fred, I have been an arse, a jerk, a fucking bitch and I would understand if you'd throw this letter into the bin right away. But I wanted to say that I am sorry. I am so sorry, I thought if I wouldn't say goodbye I wouldn't miss you, however, I couldn't have been more wrong. I miss running my hand through your soft hair, I miss the glances we gave each other during breakfast, lunch or dinner in the great hall. I miss our nights in the Astronomy Tower, I miss fucking those eleven inches and I miss falling asleep on your chest after... Sleep, that's another thing I miss, because somehow I only sleep well when I am with you. I haven't made a normal night ever since you left and it's driving me crazy. I am in a bad place right now and I know that's no excuse for my behaviour, but I need you right now. I have information about something that's going to happen this year, at the school and you can't ask me how I know about this. You just need to warn them, warn them it is going to happen and warn everyone except for those on Hogwarts, they can't know... There will be an attack on Hogwarts on the 5th of June, a death eater attack. As I said before, you need to warn everyone except them at the school.... I am counting on you, golden boy ;).
