Alex's POV

I'm at my table right now doing some paperworks, papers are scattered on my table when suddenly i got a call from whoever it is.

I get my phone and I saw on the screen that Klyde is calling

"Yes, dude?" i said when i answered the call

"Dude... Are you free this time?" i got confused from what he's asking

"No. I'm on my work, why?" i asked back

I heard he sighed

"Can you message me when you're free? I need to talk to you" my forehead creased in confused

"Ahm.... Ok?" sabi ko pa na nagtataka, this is the first time that he called me all of a sudden to talk to me in person

Nagpaalam na sya bago binaba ang tawag

'What's up with him?'

Umiling na lang akong napabuntong hininga kase iba bigla ang kutob ko sa biglaang pagtawag niya gayong alam kong busy rin sya

After my work, like what he said I messaged him

Me:

Where are you?

I looked my watch to check the time, mahaba haba pa naman ang oras. Wala pa mang ilang minuto ng makarecieved na ako ng message niya

Klyde:

I'm here at the nearest coffee shop near where you work at

Alam ko na kung saan banda ang tinutukoy niya kase isa lang naman ang pinakamalapit na coffee shop dito. No need to use my car to go there, kung saan sya nagconfess ng kakornihan niya kay Cindy noon

Mayamaya pa ay nasa harap na ako ng coffee shop na tinutukoy niya, tumunog ang bell ng pumasok ako sa loob at binati ako ng isa sa mga waiter doon. Agaw atensyon na naman ako pero buti na lang at kaunti lang ang tao

"Dude, over here!" napalingon ako sa kung saan banda ang boses ni Klyde na pasimple pa akong kinawayan, tinanguan ko sya bago lumapit sa table na yun

We bumped our fist before i take my sit

"Why did you called me all of a sudden?" i straightly asked him

He did not answer immediately and he's just avoiding his eyes at me. Dumating na ang in-order niya

"Is everything alright? Is somethings bothering you?" i asked

He released a heavily sighed before he looked at me in the eyes

"I have some questions to you... Answer honestly" naguguluhan ako sa ikinikilos at pinagsasabi niya, di man lang sinagot ang mga tanong ko pero di ko pero pinagpaliban ko na lang iyon

Kinabahan ako bigla sa itatanong niya

'About ba ito kay Stephanie?'

Kinakabahan man ay di ko pinahalata na may iba akong iniisip

"What is it?" i asked confusingly

He let a deep sighed again while holding his own hand on the table "Just straight to the point, Klyde. May mga trabaho pa tayo" i said ng nangangapa pa sya ng sasabihin niya

Kinuha ko muna ang kape sa harap ko at humigop doon

"Do you have the feeling that... She's... alive?" natigil ako sa paginom ko ng kape at muntikan pang masamid na gulat na napatingin sa kanya
