Levi x Reader - Patience

Sitting in Jean's room, Jean was slowly unwrapping your arm to take a look at the remaining damage. It had been a while since the accident and your arm had first been blistered up, all red and nasty. Now a slightly dark shade of skin laid on your arm where the water had come in contact with your skin. You were glad it didn't leave any severe permanent damages. Jean smacked your arm with delight which earned an OW from you.

You thanked Jean and both of you made your way to Hange's to discuss the upcoming expedition. You didn't expect your first expedition to be such an important one, but it was discovered that Eren was a titan shifter. The Scout regiment were to supervise Eren, Erwin and Levi promised to keep a faithful watch and take full responsibility of him. Walking down the corridor, you and Jean could already hear Hange's excitement as she heard the news. She was already rambling about future experiments. A smile grew on your face, you were glad to hear Hange was happy again. You snuck behind her and gave her a hug. Hange turned and grabbed both hands and jumped up with joy squealing and you couldn't help but do the same, both jumping like idiots. Jean couldn't help, but smile. He ran up to the both of you and joined along jumping all girly like. Hearing and going through formations, you couldn't help but start to get nervous. You looked down and started to shuffle your feet around trying not to think about it. Jean sensed your nervousness and simply grabbed your hand and squeezed it. You look up to find him smiling at you. You smiled and squeezed his hand back. 

As soon as the discussion ended, you stayed back with Hange to check up on her. Jean waited by the door for you, but saw that you never went out. He sighed, knowing  you were gonna stay, so he made his way back into the room. He found you sitting on the couch with wide eyes admiring Hange and her fascinating theories. He sat down and leaned his head on your shoulder, closing his eyes. He might as well rest knowing it was gonna be a while. Before he knew it, he fell asleep. His lips were parted accompanied by a light snore and bit of drool. Hange took notice and an evil  smile appeared on her lips. She turned around with a jar full of pencils and slowly stuck on in his mouth. You wanted to laugh, but you were afraid you were gonna wake him up and ruin the fun so you stood still as much as you could, swallowing your laugh. 

Sasha and Connie had started to wonder where you and Jean had gone. The group discussions had ended and you were suppose to meet for lunch. They decided to check out Hange's room. Opening the door they found Hange sticking a 3rd pencil into a sleeping Jean's mouth while you kept swallowing your laughs down. Soon they were all taking turns sticking in a pencil while you took count. 13 PENCILS.

The door opened and Levi walked in.

"Hange I wanted to discuss-'' Levi stared at the scene in front of him.

"TCH. Disgusting, what's wrong with all of you" he walked over to get a better look.

He was disgusted by Jeans drool that was now starting to fall on your shoulder. He looked at you, grossed out that you didn't do anything to stop it from falling on you.

"13 pencils" you told him, smiling proudly at him.

"13 pencils" he repeated in his everyday monotone voice.

 He grabbed a pencil and shoved it forcefully into Jean's mouth, waking him up and earning groans from everyone. Levi smirked at his accomplishment. "14 pencils" he said and left the room. 

Connie and Sasha busted out laughing turning red, while a mad Jean scolded at all of you. 

"Out of everyone how could you Y/N?!" 

"I didn't do anything, I just kept count. To be fair you did drool on my shoulder" 

"I thought you were different" he said pretending to be hurt and standing up.

You rolled your eyes and pulled him towards you into your chest. You caressed his face and hugged him as tight as you could, earning a blush from Jean.

"GET OFF OF ME !" he tried pushing you away, but before he was able to Connie, Sasha and Hange jumped into the hug and turned it into a full group hug. Jean stopped struggling and just accepted his defeat.

Returning to your room with Sasha, you decided to call it a night. Before you could head to bed a knock on your door alerted you. You opened the door to find Levi. 

"Here" was all he said as he turned around and left.

Looking down you saw the Survey Appreciation Day invitations. They were all neatly written and in order alphabetically. You couldn't help but smile, you were finally at peace with Levi.
