Today is my 25th birthday. And the sad thing is, no one remembers.
I dialed Roop's number to see where she was. She picked up after 2 rings.
"Hey, di. What's up?"
"Where are you?" I asked.
"At the dorms with Priya"
"Ok," I sadly said.
"Ok, bye." Saying that she hung up.
Not even my sister remembers.
I pulled up into the driveway of the mansion.
It's already 7 pm. I had a really busy day.
I unlocked the door and saw pitch black.
"SURPRISE" the lights turned on and my entire family popped out.
Tears started welling up at the sides of my eyes.
Raj snuck up behind me and snaked his arms around my torso.
"Happy 25th, baby" he turned me around and claimed my lips.
When we pulled away everyone hugged me.
"Happy birthday princess" Mumma and papa hugged me at the same time.
"Ishu, happy birthday, jaani" Simi hugged me. "Thank you Simi," I said hugging her back.
"Happy birthday, Ishu" Nidhi hugged me. "Thank you, Nidhs," I said hugging her back.
"Happy Birthday Bhabi," Karan and Rohit said and hugged me one by one.
"Thanks, guys."I smiled at them.
I hugged literally everyone except Ashwini, daddy ji, and my papa's parents.
"So when are we getting the good news?" Yuvraj bhai asked wiggling his eyebrows. I was blushing.
"Yea. We are so ready to be chachu's" Rohit chimed in.
Mahi bhabz saw my face and threatened "Guys leave my sister alone". They stopped not wanting to face a pregnant woman's wrath.
"Isha let's help you get ready," Nidhi and Simi say. I nodded and we went straight upstairs.
"Ok baby, why were you blushing? Is everything ok?" Nidhi teasingly asked.
"I wasn't blushing," I sternly said.
"Yeah sure," Simi said as she led me to the vanity.
Nidhi came out of the closet with a blue ball gown.
