Liliah hopped down the last step of the front porch steps of her house. Her house was nothing special. A small duplex with a small living room, a kitchen and two bedrooms for her and her Dad. Although it was small she didn't need that much room having three different rooms around the east coast. One here in Brooklyn with her Dad, one in New York in Avengers tower with her godfather and one in Washington D.C. again with her dad. She was actually leaving her Brooklyn house to go spend the remainder of her summer in D.C. with her godmother.

"Ready, Li?" Steve called from the car.
"Yes. I'm coming I'm coming!" Liliah called back gripping her backpack.
She walked over to the car and hopped in the passenger seat. Steve shut the trunk and walk to the divers side and got in.
            "Question." Liliah started.
Steve sighed as he buckled him self up and started the ignition of the car.
"Yes?" Steve looked at his daughter.
"If you have to leave to D.C. for official S.H.I.E.L.D business, why can't they send the jet over and take us. Instead of us driving four hours." Liliah questioned.

"Because I told them that we would drive." Steve back out of the driveway.
"But why? It would only take ten minutes if we took a jet." Liliah whined.
"It's called father daughter bonding time. Four hours on the road. Just you, me and the tunes." Steve smiled at her as he drove down the street.
"Dad, I don't think there is another stronger father daughter relationship out there." Liliah laughed.
"Exactly. We have to keep it up. Hence the four hour drive." Steve teased.

"Okay, sure Dad." Liliah rolled her eyes.
"Li, where are your glasses?" Steve asked.
"I might have packed them in my suitcase in the trunk." Liliah gave him a shy smile.
"Liliah Peggy. What have I said about wearing your glasses." Steve scolded.
"You said to wear them. But I don't need them and I can't get them now. As soon as we get to the apartment I promise I'll put them on." Liliah told him.
"Fine. You win this one just because we're already late and don't have time to pull over. But as soon as we pull up to the apartment your putting them on and there staying on." Steve said.

"Absolutely I'll put them straight on." Liliah lied.
One of the bad traits Tony had taught Steve's daughter, was bending the truth as Tony and Liliah called it. However she was a natural at bending the truth, Tony just taught her how to perfect it.
"Put on some music before I change my mind about being late and pull the car over." Steve looked at her.
She saluted him playfully and turned on the radio to her Dad's favorite channel. X.M. Radio Forties music on four.

                                         ¥¥¥

Once they reached the apartment in the mid afternoon they saw a familiar red head sitting on the steps outside. Liliah jumped out of the car as soon as it stopped. Natasha stood up and opened her arms to her goddaughter.
"Nat!" Liliah jumped into Natasha's arms.
             "Hey kiddo." Nat smiled.
They pulled apart and Natasha examined her.
"Did you get taller?" Natasha asked.
"Yes I grew two more inches since you saw me last." Liliah smiled proudly.
"You must be the tallest fourteen year old I've ever met." Natasha joked.

Liliah laughed as her Dad grabbed the bags from the trunk.
"Don't worry, I'll get all the bags." Steve told them as he walked past with all of Liliah's bags.
"He acts like he's not a super solider." Liliah rolled her eyes.
Natasha laughed and lead her to the apartment.
They walked up the stairs and down the hall. A woman exited her apartment wearing scrubs.
         "Hi Kate." Liliah greeted.
"Hi Liliah. Nice to see you. I saw your Dad come back last week and knew it wouldn't be long till you arrived." Kate smiled.

"Yeah I was staying with my Godfather in New York. But I'm here for the rest of the summer." Liliah told her.
"Well then I'll see you around. I have to go. I have to work Trauma in the E.R. Tonight." Kate locked her door.
       "Have fun." Liliah waved.
"I'll try. Have a good night back." Kate waved back and walked to the stairs.
"She seems nice." Natasha spoke up.
"Yeah she is. And don't tell him I told you, but Dad totally fancy's her." Liliah lowered her voice.
"You and your British slang." Natasha threw her arm around her and walked her to the apartment.

All of the Avengers knew that Liliah went to a Wizarding school, including Director Fury. But the Ministry of Magic only knew of three people that knew. The Minister allowed Steve to know, obviously being Liliah's father and her godparents. The Ministry couldn't track Clint or Bruce because they were under the protection of S.H.I.E.L.D and no would could track Fury. While Thor was an actual god who lived on Asgard, so they couldn't really interrogate him.

After Liliah unpack she gave Natasha a hug goodbye and ate take out Chinese with her Dad.
"So I was thinking we could visit Peggy tomorrow. Then we can stop by and I can introduce you to a friend I made a few weeks ago." Steve said as they ate.
"I'd love to go see Aunt Peggy. And this an agent friend or..." Liliah started.
"No. Just a regular friend. He use to be in the Air Force. I met him when I was training." Steve told her.
"Oh no. His not a fitness buff like you is he?" Liliah stuffed an egg roll in her mouth.
"No." Steve chuckled shaking his head.

"Then we should get along just fine." Liliah chewed her food.
Steve picked up her now empty Chinese food box.
"Go brush your teeth and go to bed." Steve cleaned up.
    "But ddddaaaaaadddddd." She whined.
"Now, Liliah." Steve gave her his I'm not playing look.
"Fine. Love youuuu." She got up and walked to their shared bathroom.
"I love you too, honeybunch." He called to her.
