" Your a dumbass." Liliah told Cedric as the walked to DADA.
" Why are you always insulting me?" Cedric asked.
" Cause your always doing dumb shit that's why." Liliah said.
" It's not dumb Li. I'm the right age and I'm basically perfect at everything I do soo...." Cedric looked at her.
" Your perfect at everything huh?" Liliah raised her eyebrow.
" Yep." Cedric popped the p.
" How do you make a sleeping draught potion?" Liliah asked.

" That's no fair you know I'm not taking advance potions like you are." Cedric pouted.
" Ced we learned that in first year." Liliah patted his arm before walking into the classroom.

She walked in and took her usual seat in the front right corner next to the window. Cedric followed seconds later taking his seat next to her. They were one of the first people there so they sat and talked as the room filled. The sound of loud laughing and talking boomed through the room and that meant the Weasley twins were here. Liliah turned her head slightly to look at them, well one of them.

Fred's eyes immediately found hers. Him and George sat in the back with a large group of other Gryffindors all talking and laughing. Fred winked at her. She winked right back causing him to blush a little.

" Hey Lils. Do you want to walk with me to potions class after this?" Rogers Davis a Ravenclaw asked walking in front of her desk.
Liliah turned to him and smiled.
" Sure Rogs. Since this one ditched me for a free period." Liliah joked jabbing Cedric in the ribs.
" I need to have a least one nap during the day or I'll get cranky. And I prefer to sleep in my own bed then in class." Cedric defended.
Liliah chuckled and turned back to Roger.
" Okay I'll meet you in the corridor after class then." Roger smiled.
" Sure thing." Liliah nodded.

He waved shyly before walking back his desk.
" He totally fancy's you." Cedric told her.
" Rog? No way. We've been friends forever. No way." Liliah waved him off.
" Liliah Peggy. Do not dismiss the possibility of a guy other then Weasley liking you. Your the most beautiful girl in Hogwarts." Cedric pointed his finger at her.
" Then why has no one ever shown interest." Liliah retorted.
" Because Weasley is the only brave and stupid enough bloke to go after Captain America's daughter." Cedric countered.

" I don't understand?" Liliah furrowed her eyebrows.
" Your. Dad. Is. Scary. He would literally rip apart a guy if they ever hurt you. Not to mention Iron man or black widow or Thor or the hulk or Hawkeye." Cedric spelled it out for her.
" Okay fine but non of that has changed." Liliah said.
" But you have. Your literally dropped dead gorgeous. You've always been beautiful don't get me wrong. But this year, seriously Lils holy hell." Cedric told her.

Liliah blushed at his words even though she knew they weren't being flirty.

Moody stomped in before Liliah could say anything. Fred keep his eyes on Liliah. Why was Davis talking to his sunflower. And why was Roger so happy about it. Fred knows he's always ecstatic after talking I her, but he was allowed to be.

" Alastor Moody. Ex Auror. I'm here because Dumbledore asked me. End of story, goodbye the end." Moody grunted.
Everyone stayed silent.
" When it comes to the Dark Arts I believe in a practical approach. First can anyone tell me how many unforgivable curses there are?" Moody said.
Again the room stayed silent. Liliah sighed and raised her hand.
" Yes Miss Potter." Moody called on her.
" It's Rogers actually. But um there are three unforgivable curses." Liliah told him.

" And they are called this why?" He asked her.
" Because they are unforgivable. If you use any of them you'll be sent straight to Azkaban." Liliah explained.
" Correct Miss Rogers ." Moody wrote something on the board before turning back to the class.
" Now which curse shall we see first? Weasley stand." Moody yelled.
" Which one?" Fred joked.
" You!" Moody pointed to him.
Fred's eyes widen a bit but stood up.

Everyone turned to look at him. Fred immediately made eye contact with Liliah. Her beautiful green eyes calming him down instantly.
" Give us a curse." Moody said.
" A curse well umm which one to choose there's so many." Fred rambled.
He looked back at Liliah who held up a piece of parchment. Written on it was Imperius.
" Right I just remembered my favorite one. The imperius curse." Fred smiled looking back to Moody.
" Correct very good Miss Rogers." Moody turned to the chalk board and wrote the curse down.

Liliah gave Fred an apologetic look. Fred smiled and waved her off. It didn't bother Fred he got called out on his lack of knowledge. Also he loved that Liliah was getting the recognition she deserves for her talent and knowledge in Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Mad eye pulled out a spider. He enlarged it and let it sit on the palm of his hand.
" Imperio." Moody pointed his wand at the spider.
He then began to move the spider around the room. Putting the spider on desks and on students.
" Nope." Liliah shook her head as she watch the spider crawl up some Hufflepuffs arm.
" I'm done." Cedric said.

" Talented isn't she? I what should I have her do? Jump out the window? Drown herself?" Mad eye's tone turned dark.
" I'm not into this." Liliah whispered to Cedric.
" Me neither." Cedric whispered back.
" Another curse. Mister Diggory." Moody called on Cedric.
Cedric gulped and stood up.
" Umm the cruciatus curse." Cedric barely made out.
" Good." Moody grabbed the spider and started torturing him.

Cedric stared at the twitching and screaming creature right in front of him. His breathing began heavy and he started panting. His inner Hufflepuff was coming out. He felt terrible for the creature and could image that being done to someone he loves. Liliah noticed Cedric state.

" That's enough." Liliah stood up and grabbed the base of the wand.
Moody stopped and looked up the girl. They made dead eye contact. Liliah placed her hand on Cedric's shoulder and guided him back down to his seat still locked with her Professor.
" Maybe you could us the last curse, Miss Potter." Moody sat the spider on her desk.
" No. I can't. I won't." Liliah told him.
Moody nodded.
" Avada Kedavra!" He yelled killing the spider.
It laid limp on Liliah's desk.

Liliah closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Of course the curse that almost killed her family would be the one he would ask her for. She opened them and picked up her bag. Liliah turned and left out the door.
" Class dismissed!" Moody called.
Both Cedric and Fred ran after her. They looked at each other confused.
" Let me, please." Fred said.
" Fine." Cedric hesitantly agreed.

Fred found Liliah leaning against a doorframe that lead to the black lake.
" Thanks for the help back there." Fred walked up behind her.
" No problem." Liliah keep her eyes training on the rippling water of the lake.
" Kiss me." Fred blurted.
Liliah's head immediately shot towards him with a confused face.
" Gotcha." Fred smiled and hugged her.
" That was dumb." Liliah hugged back.
" But it got you to look at me." Fred lifted her off the ground.

" Hmm I guess." Liliah said as her feet hung above the ground.
" Are you okay?" He asked.
" Yeah I'm okay. I'm honestly more pissed off then I am sad." Liliah told him.
" Your a badass." Fred chuckled.
" I know but thank you." Liliah smiled.
" No problem." Fred said.
" No really thank you." Liliah told him.
" For what?" Fred asked.
" For being such a good friend." Liliah snuggled into the crook of his neck.

Fred's smile deflated. Friends?
