Authors Note: In this chapter I mention a blackberry slider phone. For those of you who don't know what that is the picture is above. Since Avengers is in the timeline of 2010 and Harry Potter is set in the 90's I put this story in the middle. So early 2000's
Thx 💛

Liliah tossed on her brown leather jacket to complete her look for the day.
"Li, can I come in?" Steve knocked on the door.
"Sure Dad." Liliah said as she grabbed her necklace with a round pendant with a star in the middle.
It's meant resembled Steve's shield except for red white and blue it was all silver.
"Hey soo um I just wanted to give you a heads up." Steve started.
"About what?" Liliah asked clipping the back of the necklace.

"About aunt Peggy. She hasn't being so well. She is has gotten worse since your last visit." Steve sat on her bed.
"Will she not recognized me?" Liliah sat next to him.
"What? Oh yes she will. She could never forget you Li. It's she may forget what she is talking about mid conversation or forget minor details thats all." Steve reassured his daughter.
"Okay. I don't mind repeating myself. Or retelling things." Liliah smiled.
"Thank you sweetheart." Steve hugged her.
She hugged back. They pulled apart and he placed her glasses on her.

He smiled and she gave him an unamused look.
"You look great, Li." Steve told her.
"Oh shush I look like Moaning Myrtle." Liliah rolled her eyes.

After a twenty minute drive they arrived at the hospital. And within ten minutes they reached Peggy Carter's room. Liliah walked in with a smile. Peggy turned her head towards the door. A smile splitting across her face as she saw the daughter of the man she loved.
            "Liliah, love." Peggy said.
"Hi aunt Peg. How are you?" Liliah asked walking over to one of the chairs on the side of the bed.
"Better, now that you are here. How's school love?" Peggy asked.
"Brilliant. I have a ton of new British slang to tell you." Liliah told her.

"Yes. You're in for quite a conversation Peggy." Steve sat down next to his daughter.
"Hello Steve." Peggy looked at the young man.
"Hi Peg." Steve reached out and held her hand.
Liliah smiled at the sight of the two. She likes to pretend sometimes that, Peggy was younger and her and her dad we're together and they were her parents. She didn't imagine that often though, she loved her life. Although it would be nice to know why her biological parents left her, she wouldn't trade Steve for anyone.

They talked for about an hour.
"Li, would you mind giving me and Peggy a minute?" Steve asked.
"Of course. Bye Aunt Peggy. It was so good to see you." Liliah stood.
"You as well Liliah, love." Peggy smiled.
Liliah bent down and planted a kiss on her head before walking out of the hospital room.
A few minutes later Steve walked out. He wrapped his arm around Liliah's shoulders and led them out of the hospital.

Liliah waited patiently to met her Dads new friend. After he shook hands with a woman he looked up at them.
"Look who it is the running man." Sam chuckled.
He looked at Liliah.
"And who's this lovely young lady?" Sam asked.
"I'm Liliah Rogers. I'm Steve's daughter." Liliah stuck out her hand with a smile.
Sam looked at Steve then shook her hand.
"Yeah, I'd believe this would be your daughter. Nicest teenager I've ever met." Sam told Steve.

Steve smiled, proud that he had raised such a polite and likable girl.
"We caught the last few minutes. Intense." Steve put his hands in his pocket.
"Yeah brother. We all got the same problem. Guilt, regret." Sam straighten some pamphlets.
"Did you lose someone?" Steve asked.
"My wing man Riley. Flying a night mission. Standard P.R. rescue mission. Nothing we haven't done a thousand times before. Until R.P.G. knocked Riley's dumbass out of the sky. Nothin' I could do. It's like I was out there just to watch." Sam explained.
