3rd person's POV
"Why do you guys have so much to put on your faces?" Sunwoo asked his girl best friends
"You talk too much just come here" Ryujin said and Hyunjin make Sunwoo sit on Ryujin's gaming chair.
Ryujin put a hairband to Sunwoo and Hyunjin start massaging the boy's face. He was about to complain, but then, it's Hyunjin so he couldn't do it.
They're having a sleepover at Ryujin's and the two girls decided to give Sunwoo a face massage and other stuffs.
"Hyun" he called Hyunjin while Ryujin is putting cream on his face.
"I think I like someone" he said and Ryujin looked at him.
'Is he seriously doing it?' Ryujin thought as stay silent.
"Eh? How about Changmin-oppa?" Hyunjin asked and look down at Sunwoo, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"He transferred school last week and... we didn't actually work out" he answered
"Who's this person you like?" Hyunjin asked and the other two look at each other before Sunwoo bring his gaze back to Hyunjin.
"I won't drop her name for now" he said and Ryujin just sighed.
"Oh okay, take your time- wait- HER?!?!?" Hyunjin is legit shocked
"Yeah" Sunwoo said and sat straight
"Really? A her? A she? A girl? A female? A-" Sunwoo cutted Hyunjin off
"Yes. A girl. A human being with a coochie" he said
"Oh my god Kim Sunwoo het era" Hyunjin said and Ryujin laughs while Sunwoo just jokingly push Hyunjin.
"How long have you been liking her?" Hyunjin asked
"About two years now"
"Bitch what the hell?" Ryujin reacted, she knew that Sunwoo likes Hyunjin, but didn't expect that he's been into her for almost two years now.
"My god, Kim Sunwoo, you like her for almost two years now and yet you're still not confessing your feelings to her?" Hyunjin said
"It's not easy to confess especially when I'm close to her" he said and Hyunjin put a face mask on his face.
"Oh so you're friends with her?" Hyunjin asked and the boy nodded.
"We're friends for several years now"
"That's... Yeah it's quite hard to confess if that's the case" Hyunjin mumbled
"Yeah... And the fact that I don't stand a chance to her" he said
"Why?"
"She's gay" Sunwoo answered and Hyunjin facepalms.
"Then why did you choose to fall for her? That's stupid, Woo" she said
"I didn't want to fall for her, Hyun. Yeah I know it's stupid, but what can I do? It just happened naturally and one day I woke up and I can't stop it anymore so I just fell deeper" frustration is evident in his voice
Hyunjin let out a sigh and pat Sunwoo's back to comfort him.
"I know it's hard, but you need to tell her what you feel towards her" she said
"She deserves to know and you deserve to get it all out of your chest" she added
"What if... What if she start ignoring me after I confess?" he asked
"Then it's her loss, not yours. Woo, you're a good friend. Everyone in this world deserves someone like you and if she don't want to be your friend anymore then that's her problem. Listen, we will be just right here by your side, hmm? We'll never leave you" Hyunjin said in all seriousness
"Right, Ryu?"
"Right"
"Promise?" Sunwoo raised his pinky finger
"Promise."

"Why did you choose to go with me?" Sunwoo asked as they enter the hall where the party is getting held.
"Hyewon-unnie and Heejin will go together and besides I don't want you to go here alone" Hyunjin said and poke Sunwoo's cheek.
"Hmm?" Sunwoo looks at her
"Can you fix my hair?" she asked and Sunwo move his hand to fix Hyunjin's hair. He handle it gently and with so much care. He smiled and retreat his hand.
"There"
"Thanks, Woo"
The two of them wave their hand to Ryujin and made their way to their table.
Sunwoo's eyes are focused on Hyunjin and Hyunjin only. He's gonna do it tonight. He thought of what Hyunjin said last night at their sleepover and he knows that Hyunjin would never leave him.
They have fun first and goof around. He savors the time before he confess to Hyunjin.
A slow song played and Sunwoo offer his hand to Hyunjin, asking her for a dance.
"I don't want to dance" she said and Sunwoo scoffed.
"Come on" Sunwoo drags her to the middle and place his hands on Hyunjin's waist. Hyunjin then place her hands on her best friend's shoulders and they sway their body to the music.
"I have something to tell you" Sunwoo whisper in Hyunjin's ear
"What is it?" Hyunjin asked
"It's you, you're the girl I like" he said with no hesitation. Hyunjin stopped dancing as she look at Sunwoo's eyes. Her eyes are shaking as she looks at him who's smiling so wide.
"Woo..." she's lost for words
"I know, I know" he chuckles
"I'm sorry I broke our promise" he apologized
"I fell, Hyunjin-ah. I fell so deep"
"Why?... Why you didn't tell me?" Hyunjin's tears are building up
"I don't want to ruin our friendship" Sunwoo said and smile.
"I'm fine with just watching you"
"Watching you from afar"
"And catching you whenever you fall"
"I've been hurting you for so long, Sunwoo-yah, why... why you didn't tell me earlier?" Hyunjin's tears starts to fall down and Sunwoo quickly wipe those tears away.
"Stop crying. You know I hate it" he said
"It hurts, but I'm all good, Hyunjin-ah. Seeing you happy is enough for me" he smiled genuinely
"Woo-yah" Hyunjin sobs, her bestfriend likes her for two years already and she's completely not aware of it. He's enduring the pain for so long.
"Shhh stop crying" Sunwoo said and Hyunjin just hug him.
"I'm sorry, Sunwoo-yah" she apologized
"It's fine, I'm fine. Now stop crying you crybaby"
They stayed like that for a while until Sunwoo spoke.
"You won't leave me, right? You won't start ignoring me, right?" he's scared
"I will never leave you. Never."
"That's all I need to hear, Hyun" he caress the back of her head and broke the hug.
Sunwoo took her hand and gently drag her to the other table. Hyunjin realized where he's taking her. He's taking her to Heejin.
"Now go and get your girl" he said and let go of her hand. As he let go of her hand, he promised himself to also let go of the feelings he had been holding for the past two years.
"Woo....." Hyunjin looked at him
"Go" he said and wear his best smile.
