Chapter XVIII: Raijū

"EARTH GOLEM!"

Two indentical rock golems stood tall and tough on the ground. With boulders and rocks forming their figure, cracks adorned their hard body with unique glowing colours that looked like molten magma. The two golems stood on their spots, facing each other as if they were ready to be ordered around by their summoners. Just as Boboiboy Earthquake decided to use his special ability of creating earth golems, Datu couldn't be more delighted to follow and unintentionally made a golem fight.

Datu's Earth golem was just slightly different but at the same time similar. It seems like Datu was able to combine his lightning powers with his 'new but totally not stolen land-based power'. The colour of Datu's Earth golem or Electran golem rather─had a slightly darker palette. Its aura radiated a fearsome feeling, probably because it was not only incorporated with lightning and land but, also dark magic. Boboiboy and Datu were just currently waiting for each other on who would land the first attack.

With impatience growing rather quickly, the power replicator groaned in annoyance as he decided that he will make the first move against the teen. "Raktus Impera!" Datu commanded first as his golem soon obeyed, running towards its opponent as the ground grumbled in result. The electran landed an electrifying punch on Boboiboy Quake's Earth golem right on the face. The Earth golem stumbled on his feet but didn't fall down, it was twitching so badly because of the Electric-land combo attack it just received. Normally, electric attacks wouldn't work but, being blended with a land attack made it work.

The situation wasn't fair, Boboiboy couldn't just use his other elements to make a combo attack. It was too risky, he couldn't let Datu copy his other powers too. Gritting his teeth, he decided that he should make his move against his opponent too. "Hiyah!!" Boboiboy Quake let out a battle cry as his golem followed his actions like a puppet. Y/n stood helplessly by the side, earlier she was helping Boboiboy Earthquake with the fight against Datu but, right now she didn't know what she could do for him. She couldn't help him and fight a huge golem in a hand-to-hand combat.

A few weeks ago she was just a mere pilot, admiring such great machineries and even enjoying the feeling of the wind hitting her face as she glided along the sky freely. Now, she was standing along with 5 foreign superheroes, fighting spirits and dark magic users for the safety of their galaxy. How quick everything went full 180. She wasn't experienced in fighting, she didn't even use her magic that much. All she did in her life was depend on her smarts and quick thinking, never had she thought she would experience all of this in her life.

She was thankful that she did, finally she had a purpose. Not just sitting around in the castle, thinking what she would be in the next life or in the future.

Her eyes darted to Boboiboy Earthquake who was clearly struggling of defeating their enemy, his bright ochre eyes were squinted and narrowed. Beads of sweat starting to form on his forehead as he grew nervous of the situation knowing that soon he would face his doom if he doesn't act up. But, what would he even do? The poor boy didn't have an idea as his thoughts were now clouded with troubling things. Some of his tousled and messy dark coloured strands of hair were now nearly blocking his eyes. Breathlessly he stood with clenched fist as he went for an another attack which failed miserably again.
