Chapter LX: Vows

THE TALK WITH Kaden had been lingering inside the female elf's mind, bothering her and eating her up for quite a while. The adult elf had left her alone as per her request, she wanted to have some time alone to think. She clutched the blanket feeling the sudden grumbling of her stomach. That's right, she hasn't eaten yet, she almost forgot about eating. She didn't want to leave the room but her body said otherwise. Knowing how her friends will get worried about her, she has made her final decision of getting up for a meal.

She ran her fingers through her hair to entangle them and fix its dishevelled look. Y/n felt exhausted and drained at the moment. She carefully stood up from her bed before fixing it, she never knew her farewell with the bed would be one of the most painful ones. Gingerly, she took a step before she took another step closer to the futuristic door of the ship. She stood before the entrance in silence, letting a silent moment pass, the calm beating of her heart in sync with her breathing.

The female elf raised her head, clenching her jaw before stepping up. As the door opens, she couldn't take a step forward as her (e/c) eyes met with entrancing brown irises looking right at hers. An awkward silence began to invade the atmosphere between her and the elemental hero, both weren't expecting each other standing by the door at the same time. It took her a while before she could process the situation, blinking in bewilderment before looking down at what he had brought with him.

The scintillating and intoxicating aroma of something she didn't recognise has come to tempt her nose into taking a good bite. She scanned the food on the tray with him, the food looked appetizing even though she doesn't know what they were made from. It took her a moment to realise what his intentions were here. "You..." She trailed off, looking up to Boboiboy with a surprised expression. The elemental hero took a deep breath in an attempt to calm down the fast beating of his heart, saying he was nervous was an understatement.

"Er... I'm sorry if I was disturbing you or anything but... Y-you haven't eaten anything yet since we arrived," He avoided eye contact with her, nervously looking to the side. As the young boy was trying his best to hide his embarrassment from the taller teenager, her (e/c) eyes sparkled at the food being served to her while continuing to stare at it. "What ambrosia, it smells outstanding. Did you perhaps make these?" Y/n raised her head to look at the elemental hero's face once again with a curious expression on her face.

"I did, I hope it's to your liking, I don't really know what type of food you like," He sheepishly admitted, giving the female a cute grin. "Oh where are my manners, please come in. I did not expect to have guests at this hour," Y/n gasped in realisation before stepping backwards to give way to Boboiboy. "Well, with many people loving and caring for you, you should," He sighed, stepping inside the room and walking ahead of her.
