Dick's POV

"Wonder Woman."

"Check."

"Aquaman."

"Check. Third on the list."

"Flash."

"First on the list. Obviously."

"What about ManHunter?"

"Checked him twice."

Percy sighed and put down her pad. "Who are we missing? We've checked everyone."

"More like hacked every Justice League's system. Yes, we did." Dick corrected her.

"No, my senses don't lie," Percy insisted. "We left out someone."

Dick smiled up at his girlfriend. "Don't stress yourself out, Princess. You'll remember." Percy looked down and gave him a smile. Dick resumed his position lying on Percy's lap as they went over their list of guests for Wally's party again, for the tenth time that afternoon.

"Hey, when does the party start again?" Percy suddenly asked.

Dick looked down at his watch. "Um, as soon as Wally gets to the Cave. Until then, we have time to kill."

"He better get here quick, the freaky snowstorm is messing up the Zeta-tube. Wouldn't want the Birthday Boy to go missing on his big day he had made such big deal about."

Dick snickered. "When it comes to Birthdays, no one is more excited than Wally, since it's the day he gets to do whatever crazy things he wanted to do."

"He does that all the time," Percy said, laughing a little.

"True."

The sound of someone walking in interrupted the two and Dick quickly adjusted his dark glasses and sat upright beside Percy. Artemis walked in with a soured look.

"Where is Wally?" She asked harshly. "We've been waiting all morning and still no sign of that git!"

"I'm sure he'll be here soon," Percy said. "He usually shows up just seconds before the training starts anyway. It's almost time."

"Artemis, are you worried for Wally?" Dick asked with a smirk.

The blonde's face went red. "N-no! I'll never do that!"

Now both Dick and Percy are looking at her with a devilish smirk. "Hm..."

"An-anyway, Megan wants us all at the kitchen for the final preparation, so...hurry up!"

"First stage, Denial," Percy said as soon as Artemis is gone.

"Yep."

"And double my bet on the kiss by the end of this year," Percy added.

"Aright."

...

"Recognized, Kid Flash B03."

Dick ran to the light switch and turned it off as soon as he heard the Zeta-tube went off.

"Everyone quiet!" He hissed.

"Zeta-tube network now offline due to extreme atmospheric condition." And there goes the transportation. Wally arrived just in the nick of time.

"Birthday Boy luck," Percy whispered to him and Dick cracked a smile.

The sound of footsteps draw near and from the corner of his eyes, Dick saw Kaldur held up his hand for the countdown. Three, two...
