Dick's POV

Dick couldn't stop thinking about Persephone the sea-green eyed girl. That night as he was laying in bed, he couldn't get a wink of sleep, Dick was too excited for tomorrow to come. Bruce Wayne, his adopted father, is taking in Percy!

"Percy, this is my adopted son, Richard Grayson-Wayne." Dick shook Percy's hand with a smile.

"It's nice to meet you, Richard, my name is Persephone Jackson but call me Percy." The blue-eyed boy grinned. I know your name, we had met last night, he thought.

"Hi Percy, and please, call me Dick." He grabbed Percy by the hand and literally dragged her into the manor.

"Come on, I'll show you around."

General POV

Percy adapted to life at the mayor pretty quickly. She and Dick had become best friends just a few hours after Percy had arrived at the manor. Alfred and Bruce are both warming up to Percy. Bruce would never admit it, but he loves Percy and treated her like his own daughter. There is just something about Percy that everyone likes.

It also did not take long for Percy to discover the 'family secret'. Let's just say a certain bird had 'accidentally' left the door open and allowed a curious demigoddess (Shhh, don't tell her yet!) to find and explore the Bat cave.

As anticipated, she begins training with Batman, and soon, she was spending the night roaming around Gotham with him and Robin. Percy was a natural fighter, being ADHD had it'peaks, though the same thing couldn't be said about dyslexia, well, not yet anyway.

Percy loved her new family. Bruce, Dick, and Alfred had filled up the holes in her heart. She loves cooking blue food with Alfred, went on patrol with Bruce, and spending time goofing around with Dick. The family in turn loves Percy too. With her, the manor begins to be filled with laughter, something the place hadn't had for a very long time.

For a good three years, Percy was happy in her new home. She and Dick were inseparable, they play together, train together, study together (more like Dick tutoring her, blame that on ADHD and dyslexia), and patrol the city together as Robin and Tidal-Wing.

Yep, that's right, Percy's code name is Tidal-Wing.

Things were great until weird things began to happen when Percy turned twelve. Every now and then she would be awoken by strange dreams. The dreams were all the same: A horse and an eagle fighting each other. She never told anyone her dream, not even Dick. Deep down, she had a feeling this information must be kept a secret, for now at least.

Percy is still going to school every day. She and Dick both attend Gotham Academy. And with Dick keeping Percy in check, she has been staying out of trouble. I know right? A real shocker. But Percy had new trouble, she kept seeing monsters and misshapen creatures in the hallway. They all seem to be watching Percy, bearing their teeth at her as she quickly moves past them.

Dick had noticed Percy's trouble, he tried to ask her about it but Percy would not answer him.

The fateful day came just as the semester comes to an end. Grover, Percy's friend at school, came to the Manor and asked in an urgent voice for Percy to come with him.

Dick was out with Wally aka Kid Flash for their 'Bro-Time'. Bruce wasn't home, he was on a business trip. Alfred went shopping for groceries. So Percy was home alone. She agreed and left a note for her family and went out with Grover, thinking that she would not be gone for long.

Boy, was she wrong...

The Wayne Manor was in a gloomy state. Persephone Jackson-Wayne had been missing for almost three days now. No one knew where she went. Bruce had come back from his trip as soon as he heard about Percy's disappearance. He and Dick had been searching around Gotham as Batman and Robin but still no news. They had kept Persephone's disappearance a secret from the media so far, they knew that it would not be long before they find out.

"Any news, Sir?" Alfred asked from the entrance of the cave as Robin and Batman returned from their tenth search around the city.

"No..." Dick stayed silent with a stone-hard expression. He was furious and upset at himself. He shouldn't have left with Wally, he shouldn't have let Percy stayed home alone. Now he lost his best friend and life-long crush. Dick just hopes that wherever Percy is, she is safe. And he is not giving up looking for her, she must come home.

Two days later, Percy appeared on the news along with two other kids her age, one of them was Grover. Percy looked battered with bloody scratches all over her. Apparently, she had blown up the Gateway Arch, noway will Percy do that without a reason. Right now, it didn't matter, Dick and Bruce are anxious to get her back home safely.

When they had zeta-beamed to the location, Percy and her friends were long gone. Another dead end. But why did Percy ran away? The lessons Batman had given both Dick and Percy should have not lead to her current action. The bat-family was truly confused at this. But at least now they knew that Percy is alive and at the moment, safe.

Percy's POV

Oh, gods, how am I gonna explain to my family about this? What am I gonna tell Dick? What if he thinks I'm a freak?! All these thoughts ran through Percy's mind as she sat in the Big House, recovering from the scorpion poison. A knock on the med-bay door startled Percy out of her thoughts.

"Percy? Your family is here to pick you up. Are you ready, my dear?" Chiron the centaur asked. Oh, right, she had made a phone call to the Maynor and asked if they can come to Long Island and pick her up there. She cringed at the memory of Dad (Bruce) and Dick yelling at her, telling her how much they worried about her and demanding to know if she is okay. They must have seen the news about her 'kidnap'. Oh well, better get ready for the scolding, I might as well dung a grave for myself...

"Yeah, Chiron, I'm coming." Percy got up from the med bed with some difficulty and grabbed her bag by the door and headed out of the Camp and back into the Mortal World.

O gods, Help, they are gonna kill Percy...
