Chapter 6

"Yang Jungwon"

Jay's Point of View

Today is Friday, So I don't need to get up early as my classes begin at one in the afternoon. It's pretty normal in college. You will probably understand why once you become a university student.

What's funny is, despite that fact, I found myself preparing breakfast at six o'clock instead of being in bed for the child-looking guy called One.

I'm cooking simple sunny-side-up eggs, bacon, and hotdogs as well as rice. We also have toast loaf bread if he prefers it more.

After few more minutes, his bedroom door opened. It revealed him, "Hyung, Good morning." he greeted with a bit chinky eyes and a smile that made his dimple shows while looking sleepy on his pajama.

I see him like this every morning, yet I seem not to get used to it.

"Hmmm.." he hummed after sniffing, "what are you cooking, Hyung? it smells good," he commented, then walked next to me to see it for himself.

This is not actually the first time I prepared breakfast for us. I always do when I have time as I prefer cooking to ordering outside and food deliveries.

One because It's more hygienic, and restaurants tend to use too much MSGS on their foods, making it unhealthy.

"Just a simple breakfast," I replied, then pat his fluffy hair.

He nodded and sat on the high stool chair at the bar counter, where we usually have our meals. We somehow both prefer to eat here than at the dining table.

"Hyung, let me cook next time, let's takes a turn." he said while looking at me, "I feel bad for letting you cook every day," he added, still looking sleepy.

"Then you cook tomorrow," I said.

He smiled slightly enough to reveal his cute dimple once more, then nodded. He was actually lying when he said that because he already cooked for us one time, and in that one time, I learned that he's not a good cook.

Not at all.

When I finished cooking, One helped me set up the plates and utensils. Meanwhile, I tidied the kitchen sink and counter for a bit and washed my hands before sitting on the bar counter with him.

"Thank you for the food." We both said before starting eating.

The little child-looking guy prefers rice to bread this time. Which is I find good since the rice will energize him more than bread.

He always has these long days and nights ahead of him because he's a working student.

I was quietly eating when I noticed that he kept stealing glances from me. I looked at him and caught him staring at me blankly. When he realized it, he slightly panicked and focused his eyes on his plates while eating.

My eyes stared at him. I swallowed the food in my mouth and wiped it with a tissue, "What it is?" I asked him. He looks like he has something to ask but contemplating whether he will ask it or not.

In the end, He did not say anything but just looked at me seems like still debating within him.

"Is it about Riki?" I asked, opening the topic. Riki told me a few weeks ago that he already found Jungwon. It took him almost a month to approached him until 2 days ago when he said they're now friends.

I plan to pretend that I don't have an idea until he tells me, but Jungwon never opens about it and mentions it to me. I want him to open about it first, but I figured he won't be able to do so from thinking twice every time he tries.
