"Ouh ouh ouh!" Jamie tries not to move too swiftly, his body wasn't in a good shape at this point

"Careful young man, I highly recommend that you not to over stress so much...honestly"

Dr Priyanka Maheswaren sighs, she looks at the injury as the last pieces were removed

"How bad is it?" Jamie asks

"You will live... although you are lucky it didn't damage the vital parts of your body. Steven also helped with his spit... 'But why did he looked so distraught and off?'...

"I see. So I can't go to work for a while..."

"Well that's an understatement. Your condition is better, compared to my other patient for today"

"Oh I see...how is he or Connie?"

"Connie is alright, with blood coming from her mouth but overall she'll recover. About him though, his whole face is literally burned alive so he'll have bandages on for a couple of days...he still says it's nothing severe"

"Of course he would...he said he was through worse. Such people don't give much attention to scars...at least inm ost of the adventre genres" Jamie blatantly responds much to her disturbance and suspicion.

"Ookaaay...Anyway I already noted gems of this and they are waiting for you outside"

Jamie stands up carefully with his own bandages and the doctor reminds him "Remember do not overdo it. You are still a young healthy man to be put in a bed long term"

Her words had the same tone his own mother had when he was a baby which felt strange yet a bit heartwarming

'So this is where Connie gets her devotion'

"I-I will try my best... I promise" Jamie says

He took his leave shortly afterwards leaving Priyanka to her thoughts which go back to her audience with Otar, his words resonating in her thoughts

'Your daughter makes a good leader... You may consider her joining the war effort'

'Excuse me?'

'Ouh it's nothing. Just a thoguht...Who knows what may happen'

She shrugged it off as a bad joke but his tone felt like he was warning her of something . Connie is a sword fighter now as much as she was against it initially before agreeing but only so that she could fight on her own but to go to full on war? She survived the homeworld but they all know better than to test their luck

'I've got a bad feeling about this'

Otar is seen walking around the rubble, collecting everything that operates on a necessary level. It wsn't much however, he did find a door that was luckiyl not largely damaged but he won't be able to travel anywhere anytime soon

"Geez and here goes my home. Guess I'll have to find a new shelter for a while"

He stretches his hand feeling the rain drops on his hand

Some may not like rain, deeming it a wet and boring...For him though it felt familiar and somewhat comforting

'Sometimes it feels like world itself is crying'

He still had to find one single thing he couldn't afford to lose

He looks throguh the what was before his bedroom, with a his bed torn to bits

Not to mention the console screen was now fried. He removes the upper part of the console, revealing a big black book which had no scratch on it

"There you are" Otar said

His torn bed and broken console then floats upward much to his surprise

"What the?" The bed flies up as he sees Peridot on her platform

"And what do we have here?" Peridot asks curiosuly

"Do you want something or did you come to help?" He asked

After the batttle with Azurite, sea water is seen slowly and nicely flowing on the shores now

"Gaah!" Jasper comes out of the water

"AARGH! Where is she?! Again!? Why can't it just work!?" Jasper growls in anger and frustration

"We were such a strong and powerful warrior and even now..."

Jasper said no more, remembering these same words from her time with Lapis and she then starts walking away dissapointed, unaware or maybe even uncaring for a Lapis she was with

Mean Lapis was also reformed after being seperated from Jasper, she unfortunately had to go back to her superiors empty-handed

"That Jasper caused quite the trouble" A peridot gem said

"Tch what a waste of time" Citrine says glaring at Mean Lapis "Could've at least shatter one of them you trash"

Mean Lapis was about to retort before a red Sapphire interrupted "Mind your words. We need a strong alliance not a crippling team"

Citrine huffs not saying more

"As for Jasper, she proved to be an unstable brute and not relliable" Sapphire gem uses her future sight to see the odds of Japser's potential aid which were low yet at the same time, there was one outcome they can favor from as she smiles "But I think she may still be useful"
