Noelle is the older sister of Richelle and has been dancing with The Next Step since she was three. They always say don't mix relationships with business, in this case with dance. It seems like Noelle found herself mixing both dance and relationship...

"ATTENTION DANCERS, ATTENTION, please." Chris says as he and Kate walk in, signalling us to stop stretching. We all gather around to hear the news.
"Some exciting news: it looks like we're competing at a local dance competition this weekend." Dance competitions are very fun; it also allows us dancers to see the competition we'd have for regionals. "We're gonna switch it up a bit, and I'm going to change the line positions. You'll perform for Chris and I, then I'll make the decision." I think Ms. Kate's changing the lines will make it way more fair than Emily's decision.

I spoke way too soon; of course Emily would somehow find a way to control line placements. I don't even know why I even think anything Kate says will actually be done by her.
"Alright everybody, are you ready? The order is Chloe, Tiffany, Daniel, Eldon, Noelle, James, Stephanie, Riley, Michelle, then West." I like being in the middle of auditions just because I get to see who's before me and what they're doing.
(Let's just pretend that this is Noelle and she's actually dancing to the music in the show :) )
"If you were placed in the front row, it basically means that you're one of the strongest dancers."
As we get to Riley's audition, she blanks out and completely forgets her dance. I know most of us would say it's back-row material, but she's Emily's sister, so who knows.
Michelle was the second last to dance, and I have a feeling she'll be in the middle row just because I believe Eldon and Daniel really outdid all of us.
"All right, can we gather around." Emily says, "Everyone attention; I'm going to run this by Kate and Chris, get their opinion on it, and see if it's fair." She says, walking towards Kate's office.
"You know, I'm not really sure where I'm gonna be placed in the dance."
"There pointing." Chloe says from behind me, I mean, it definitely is a good thing; it's very unbiased, and it has the input of Kate and Chris.

Emily soon walks in with Stephanie, hopefully here to tell us about the line placements. "Alright everybody, attention. I have in my hands are the line positions. Back it up, and I'll tell you what they are." Emily says. It's all or nothing.
As everyone's names were being called, I noticed that my, Riley, and Michelle's names were the only ones left, and the spots left were in the front, middle, and back rows.
"Riley, you're in the front, and Michelle's in the middle. Noelle, you can stay where you are, in the back row." I'm in the back row. I don't have any words to say, but Kate and Chris agreed with Emily. I thought they had more faith in me.
"Ok everyone, I'm gonna need you to back it up, and all I'm looking for is cleanliness in the arms; just be sharp." Emily's speaks. As the groups dance, I can tell we're all focused on Riley; she is off the music and has no idea what she's doing.
Emily ends up calling a break, and clearly this break is for Riley; she messed up the choreography, but I'm positive she'll pick it up soon.

I'm leaving to go see West at Squeezed when I see James with a math book in his hands. "Yo, Noelle." He calls. "Noelle, can you tell me what a tangent is again?" James asks. "Uh yeah, sine over cosine." "Sine over cosine?" "Yeah." He shakes his head and closes the text book.
"Hey, I got you something." He says, grabbing his bag. I would never think of James as the type of person to get me something; so much for not falling for his charm. Huh.
"It's from the top of a mountain." James explains. "The top of a mountain?" "Like the top of a mountain, like the Rocky Mountains." James says, going to his bag and grabbing a black water bottle and giving it to me. "It's natural Spring Mountain water." "Mhm, got it." I taste the water, and surprise, surprise, it tastes like normal water.
"He's probably the only person at the studio who's gonna tell me his honest opinion and the brutal truth. Which is what I need right now."
"Can I ask you something?" I ask him slowly. "Yeah, sure." "Do you think I should be in the back row?" I finally ask. "Okay, honestly?" He asks, "Honestly." I confirm, I want him to be honest; I don't want the "I don't know." Or "I'm not sure." I just want honesty.
"Seriously, I think you should be in the middle row, Michelle in the front, and well, Riley. I mean no offence." "No, thank you for being honest. I just needed to hear it." I walk away from James as much as it hurts, and I feel bad for Riley.

"Alright, everybody, let's take our positions. You should be warm by now." As I'm walking with Michelle to our spots, Riley grabs mine and Michelle's arms, putting Michelle in first, me in second, and herself in the back row.
Emily's eyes look like we just committed murder; she walks up to Riley, and Riley decides to speak vocally about what happened with the line orders. "Kate had nothing to do with the line placements. Emily made this all on her own, and I clearly do not deserve to be in the front or middle row; Michelle and Noelle do." I always speak too soon when it comes to Emily. I'm done trying.
"Do you all agree with me?" Riley asks, and James is the first to agree, with most of the group joining Sorry, sis, you're outvoted." Emily's mood swings arrive, and now she's acting like nothing has happened.
"Okay, that's fine!" She says. Michelle tries to confirm she's in the front row, and Emily snaps at her with a "Yes." Ms. Kate walks in when the drama ends. Great timing, Kate.
"Okay dancers, we have a lot of work to do on this dance still, okay? We need to pick up the energy big time." We performed the dance in front of Kate, and it's going way better than before; maybe switching the line placements wasn't such a bad idea after all.
One things for sure, a war will be going down sooner or later.

A/N: Why was this episode incredibly long. There was a lot that happened and it all had to be included. I know this chapter would've been posted almost a week ago maybe more I don't know. But I have exciting news. Christmas break is happening on December 17 for my school so I have two whole weeks to give you all update the slight problem is that I have a project with a friend and I might be way to busy working on that, but don't worry I'll figure it out. <3
