I HAD WALKED INTO CULTURE SHOCK
just to purposely find James. I wanted to see how he was doing with the list. "So, ready for number seven?" I ask taking a seat in front of him.

"No." He says, making me raise an eyebrow. "I did book the appointment with my doctor to get the malaria pills, but not till next Thursday." He explains as I give him an exaggerated pout.

"See, I figured you'd say that, so I brought you number eight." I say, handing him an envelope. "It's a mystery quest." "Alright." "But you might need some help with this one. I wish you nothing but luck." I say, blowing a teasing kiss as he pretends to catch it.

"This is not too difficult for someone who is good at math, but James isn't, so I just wish him luck."

"Noelle!" I turn to face the voice of James. "Hey did you figure it out?" I ask excitedly. "Uh, not exactly, but have you seen Emily?" He asks in a rush tone. "Oh, no I haven't why?"

"The costumes are missing. When they came yesterday, Emily came with me and Chloe to put them away. We asked Chloe and didn't touch them, so that leaves Emily." James explains quickly.

I place my hands on James's shoulders. "James breath. Look, I'm headed to Studio-A, we can go see if she's there okay?" James nods as we follow behind Kate.

I have a sneaky suspicion that this has to do with Amanda and Emily's plan and, knowing Emily, she probably hid them somewhere that's at least safe.

As I follow James, Kate was quick to call for Emily, having both her and James in Kate's office. I kept walking forward until I sat beside Riley and Chloe, mouthing the word 'Amanda' to Riley.

"Guys, I have some bad news." Kate announces, with James and Emily by her side. "What is it?" West asks. "The costumes are missing. They're gone, they're not in the closet." Kate answers.

I can't help but glare at Amanda from behind. I just know deep down she's smiling and I can't wait for the day where I get to wipe it off.

"Okay, let's not panic. Maybe they've been misplaced. We'll all split up all over the studio and look for them." Chloe suggests. "Good idea Chloe." Amanda says, walking up to Emily.

"So, you take the foyer and I'll take the change rooms." She explains. I really want to follow them, but I remember I can't because I can't risk Emily's cover being blown.

After about an hour, we're all back with no costumes. "What are we gonna do without costumes?" Kate panics. "Hey guys." West says, coming in with boxes in hands. "I found the costumes." West states, making us all sigh in relief.

"Where do you find them?" Amanda asked with an attitude, making me smirk. "I found them in the trash." West lets out a breathy laugh. "Why were you in the trash?" Amanda asks, not having it.

"Well, if you must know," West gives the boxes to Amanda. "As I was channeling, my inner raccoon, the trash, just spoke to me and Voila." West explains, making everyone laugh, but of course not Amanda.

"So you climbed in the trash?" Amanda presses. "Yes, I did." West answers. "Who cares where he found it. We have costumes." I exclaim as Kate takes the costumes and we all praise West.

James had texted me he needed to see me ASAP and at this point he text me and he solved the quest. "So, how to go?" I asked, seeing James, Eldon and Hunter. "We've been waiting for you."

"Hi Noelle." He says, walking up to me. "Today you will be playing the role of a sack of grain, you know why, because I figured out the riddle. If you may, come with me to the riverbank." He says as I follow him.

"Gentlemen, please welcome the newly played role of the sack of grain replacing West: Noelle." James introduces as he then brought Eldon over first (the chicken).

"It is kind of funny to see James take this so seriously because obviously he never takes anything seriously,"

He then brings me over. "I'd appreciate it next time if you were on the boat to rub my shoulders." "Keep dreaming." I say as he takes Eldon back to the other side, replacing the chicken with the fox and then getting Eldon and making all three of us on the other side.

"That's it! That's the riddle! All three of you are on the other side! That means you have to cross out number eight." He exclaims, making me smile. "I want a congratulations, bring it in. But make sure you jump in, sweetheart." He says, making me blush as I jump in the boat, giving him a hug. "I'm proud." I say as we row out.
