Noelle is the older sister of Richelle and has been dancing with The Next Step since she was three. They always say don't mix relationships with business, in this case with dance. It seems like Noelle found herself mixing both dance and relationship...

"DIDN'T EMILY, STEPHANIE and Tiffany have a competition this weekend?" Eldon asks Riley. Me, James, Michelle, Riley, and Eldon are all in a circle talking. "I don't know; I have tried to avoid talking about dance around my sister." Riley responds. I feel bad for Riley. I would never want to have a dance fight with Richelle; she is feisty when angry, but we keep our dance lives as separate as possible.
The E-Girls walk in with a trophy, meaning they made the top three, which is a really good thing. "How'd you guys do?" James asks the three girls. "Oh well, we came second." Emily responds, we all clap for them; second is not bad at all.
"Second? Who came first?" James asks, I know The Next Step is good, but who was better?
"Elite." Just great—the one team that almost all dance teams strive to beat.
"You should've seen Elite; they were amazing!" Emily says. "You have to see this." Stephanie says, backing up Emily's words. Stephanie shows us a video of Elite, and it's insane.
"Ok. Ok, that's enough. Look, I say we take a little road trip to Elite, sneak into their studio, see what they're doing for Regionals, and come back to work on ours. What does everyone think?" Emily asks the group, I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with the fact that she wants to sneak into Elite; they'd probably think we're stealing choreography.
"Oh, I could-" Riley was about to say something until Emily cut her off: "Wait, you weren't thinking you were invited, were you?" "No..." "Good." Emily is being way too rude to Riley. I get that they had a fight, but it shouldn't have been that big of a deal. Their sisters at the end of the day.
"So who's gonna come?" Emily asks once again. Eldon volunteers himself, and it seems like he's going, but since it's Eldon, of course he'll want to go; he practically loves Emily.
"Ok, James, how about you?" James eyes meet mine, looking for some answer, but I don't know what to say. "Nah, I'm not interested." James' answer kind of relieves me. I hope he doesn't know that.
"Alright, obviously it isn't enough for Michelle, so... "No, I'll come." Michelle says, cutting Emily off. "Really?" Emily asks, not believing any words coming out of Michelle's mouth, "Yeah, I'm interested in seeing the competition, right?" "Okay." I have a bad feeling about what's gonna happen at Elite.

I'm in studio B rehearsing a solo for fun until Riley comes in and says, "Hey Noelle, I need your help." "I have a feeling we're thinking the same thing." I tell her, "Michelle?" "Yep, so what do you need?"
"Well, since Emily and I aren't on the best terms, I was wondering if you could go." As much as I like Riley's idea, Emily doesn't like me whatsoever, meaning I can't be the one to go.
"Although the idea is a good one, Emily will not allow me to go; she hates my guts." "I guess, so who can go?" I have an idea, but I just need Riley to trust me on it. "I have an idea, and let's hope they agree." "I trust you." Riley says goodbye and leaves the studio.
Let's just pray James agrees with me.

I walk into Squeezed to find James sitting with textbooks laid out. I take a seat in front of him. "James?" "Yeah?" "Can we talk?" "Yeah." Before I ask him anything, he seems to be really focused on his book; maybe I caught him at a bad time.
"What are you doing?" "Don't worry about it. What's up?" "I need you to do something for me." "Wait, you want something from me?" "Yes, yes." "Ooh, does Noelle want a favour? I don't know about that." He's having way too much fun with this.
"I know he's gonna hold this against me, but it has to be done; I promised Riley."
"I'm just a little worried about Michelle." "Why?" Here goes nothing: "I don't really want her to go on the trip with Emily by herself; I mean, she and the E-Girls aren't on great terms. I just don't want any trouble." I told him, and it's not a lie. I truly am worried for her.
"Okay, so where do I come into this?" He asks, leaning closer. "I just want you to go on the trip and make sure nothing happens."
"I ask James to keep an eye on Michelle at Elite because I feel like he's the only one I can truly trust."
"That's a big favour." James says in a taunting way. "Really? James please?" "Well, I'm going to have to convince Emily to let me go, I already told her I wasn't going to go. That's gonna cost you." He says with a pointed look. Okay, fine, I owe you." He gives me an intrigued look with a little bit of surprise.

I'm just sitting in the same spot where I was previously talking to James, and now he's working his "charm" on Emily. I even heard him say something along the lines of "I used to date a girl there." Of course he has.
"Typical James. Is there anywhere in town where he hasn't dated someone?"
I hear Emily give him the "Alright", and I'm so relieved. I send Riley a text about the news, and she thanks me. I hear James walk over to me and say, "Well, you owe me." He says, smirking at me, and proceeds to walk away.
"I feel a lot better knowing that James is going to Elite; it'll be nice for someone to look over Michelle because Emily won't do it."
