AFTER WINNING REGIONALS,
I still want more. Me and James, on the other hand, have been doing great, and we couldn't be happier.

"Everyone at the studio has been calling me and James "Joelle", basically our names conjoined into one."

Nationals is uprising, and we all have this connection like no other. Regionals set a high bar, but Nationals bar is way higher.

I can only hope we don't crack under pressure.

Right now, The Next Step is hosting a party/open house for B-Troupe and J-Troupe for our regional win.

It's great because the younger troupes get to see that their studio can win something so big.

"So, what's up? What'd you do this weekend?" James asks, walking up to me.

"Not much, just stuff regarding Richelle." I answer. Richelle has been dancezila recently. She's going to class every day, trying to get to B troupe, yet she's too young.

"Ahh, talk to Riley or Emily?" Ever since Regionals, I've gotten closer with the two girls, one more than the other, but don't get me wrong, me and Chloe are still best friends.

"Riley, yes. Emily, not so much." Ever since the love triangle fiasco, Emily's been distant; she and I haven't talked since regionals.

From the corner of my eye, I can see Richelle and one of her friends greeting Giselle. All of us at A-Troupe know we're related but very different. I'm very much "keep it all inside, but I do have an opinion," and Richelle, well, she's: "I say it all and then think about it." But I love her.

I avert my eyes from Richelle to where Tiffany and Beth are standing, and all I can see is Beth staring right at James.

"Do you ever notice that Beth looks at you a lot?" I ask, catching James off guard to the point where he chokes on his punch.

"No." He answers, looking at where Beth is standing. "No, I haven't really noticed that at all."

"Beth is this girl in B-Troupe; I know she and James had a thing a while back, but that was a while back. So she just needs to get over him. Fast."

"I wouldn't worry about it." James reassures me, but a very familiar face enters my sight.

"Yo, Daniel!" West shouts.

"Oh, Daniel's here; I'm going to holla out my boy. I'll catch you later." James says walking to the guys, it's good to see Daniel.

"Hey Noelle!" Giselle cheers, walking up to me with Riley by her side.

"Hey! Oh, Riley, I'm loving the hair!" I express, looking at the now-short-haired brunette.

Every season, I usually cut my hair, but I decided to keep it long for my own enjoyment. Also, the fact that longer hair suits me.
